WOW! Even the Nut Roots are bent outta shape with Nana. There is a solution. Run a viable moderate Democrat against her and support that person with the same dedication as you are in protesting Nana. Tammy Duckworth.................D IL-8 Steny H. Hoyer.....................D MD-5 Joseph P. Kennedy III............D MA-4 Debbie Wasserman Schultz...D FL-23 Here's a few more prominent Democrats that the "Roots" need to protest. These folks voted to keep the snooping. Joyce Beatty.................D OH-3 Cheri Bustos.................D IL-17 Steven Horsford.............D NV-4 Carolyn McCarthy..........D NY-4 Gloria Negrete McLeod..D CA-35 Frank Pallone................D NJ-6 . These Democrats need to be protested too because they appear to be too afraid to vote. To be fair, more Republicans voted to keep it. Ones that surprised me and cheesed me off. With that being said, I'm looking at the bigger picture. We need the Republicans to go clear cut logging in the Democrat forest of regulation in order to get the economy moving again. While I despise the snooping, getting the economy moving again is far more important than the Government listening to my Brother and I talk about what ails us lately.
I hate to open the can of worms still wriggling since the 30s here, but the economy is not struggling because of regulation. It is struggling because the recession was used as an opportunity to drastically downsize, and export labour. A worker is just simply not as valuable anymore, and the jobs aren't returning. And with the way it works, there's no incentive to bring them back. If you want to get the economy moving again, bail out the lowest classes as they will immediately turn over money they're given back into the economy. It's a bandaid, but something while we try to find a solution to a very systemic problem that shows how the entire idea of capitalism isn't this savour of magic people thought it was.
They are downsizing, and exporting labor because they are being waterboarded with regulation here in the US, that they won't be elsewhere. Sorry if that's an inconvenient truth.
I disagree on the importance of the NSA snooping. It needs to be dealt with swiftly and sharply, on both sides of the aisle. Its been revealed that the NSA is sharing illegally gathered data with the DEA who then covered up how they obtained the information in order to side step fair trial laws in getting convictions.

What if the government suddenly decides that they don't care what you smoke....but if you support government or not? Are you still okay with NSA snooping?
Do you not see what that is creating? It's a competition for who can allow business to shell out less to workers, produce more pollution, and in general act more like they did in the Victorian age than today.
