    Stand Your Ground laws have NOTHING to do with the Zimmerman/Matin case.

    If you are getting the crap beat out of you and fear for your life you can defend yourself - PERIOD. That will not change even if every such "stand your ground" law is repealed.

    In FL, deadly force can be used to defend yourself even in cases where you've started the fight. IMO, that law has to go.

    So what? GZ was found not guilty by virtue of simple self defense. They can fiddle with SYG all day and it won't make a diff. If it happened again, GZ would be found not guilty again, regardless of what they change or don't change about SYG. You folks need to get a grip. sheesh!
