    New deal at Macdonalds, buy one Big Mac, get the second for a penny. Won't last long, think it's just for this week. The total came to around 4.50.

    Good morning Bar Peeps.
    The birds are flocking like crazy. I had a whole flock fly over the truck windshield. A cup of hot coffee and a walk on the deck at 5 in the morning. I smelled fall in the air. I cant wait to smell that snowfall smell! High 30's here this morning and Im on the deck barefooted and in shorts. lol What cold? Dis isza nice ah nice!

    You know, as a daughter there is just something so special about a dad. Things you learn and never forget. How to treat people right. How to be right to be respected. My lesson time with dad was short. The huge landslide of life for a daughter, no matter the age. But in the end the love and lessons get magnified the older I get.
    This IS for you daddy.

    Why is it you always end up packing too many clothes? Just don't know what you'll be in the mood to wear.

    Rented a pretty lil white impala. Gfs gm hubby will be pleased.

    Breaking own rule for a min.. did I mention I'll be sharing a room with an Obama supporter? Of course, I'll be paying... and driving... and deciding what we'll do.

    Close but no cigar...actually it is the middle of the month plus two. For those that are calendar challenged that would be the 17th. That works on September because it has 30 days.
    Thank you, thank you for thinking of me...late or early always nice to be thought of..and especially on a Bday even if it is a bit early.. I believe being early could fall under a virtue tag..:clapping:

    Lounging by the pool. Brrr, water's cold. Just had fried pickles and bloody marys delivered by the bar next door. Life at the beach is very very good. :)

    There was a time not too yore ago when there was no Sausage Egg McMuffin.
    There was the original Egg McMuffin which came with a slice of Canadian bacon.
    You do know that right.And Mc'd also had Onion rings.
    Onion Rings were in limited regions as a test market product { in the 7o's }
    Frozen Onion rings had a poor showing because of breakage.McD's
    Store Freezers were set at around Zero to 10 degrees.But then the Freezers
    that are used lined around the walk-in regrigerator { use to store stuff like their Danish
    and milk,and milk shake mix and eggs and Canadian bacon and cheese etc.}
    was prey to being opened often.All it took was sloppy delievery of frozen boxes
    like Hamburger patties and French Fires for some employee to drop a box of
    Onion Rings or slam them into the big Freezer and Voila ... Breakage.
    How were those McD's Onion rings.They weren't bad.But there were always broken
    rings.

    Thx, Shang! Nuthin better than a bday on the beach. Pool boy's name is Carlos and honey, he's a honey. I may have to bring this one home! Off to Moody Gardens to spend the day at the rainforest. Hear high humidity makes one appear younger. LOL
