Herb Titus has my legal credentials beaten hands down.

But Chief Justice Roberts has Herb Titus's beaten hands down. He has sworn Obama in as President three times now.

It doesn't require an 'expert' to know this stuff- we all know that anyone born in the U.S. is a natural born citizen- I learned it from my very conservative civics middle school teacher close to 40 years ago- Herb Titus and the Birthers came up with this new theory entirely in response to Barack Obama.

They want Birther VOTES...but they don't want to be seen shaking their hands.

From what I have seen, Titus is very literate.

He taught constitutional law, common law, and other subjects for nearly 30 years at five different American Bar Association approved law schools. From 1986 to 1993, he served as the founding Dean of the College of Law and Government in Regent University, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Prior to his academic career, he served as a Trial Attorney and a Special Assistant United States Attorney with the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. and Kansas City, Missouri. Today he is engaged in a general practice with a concentration in constitutional strategy, litigation, and appeals.

Mr. Titus holds the J.D. degree (cum laude) from Harvard and the B.S. degree in Political Science from the University of Oregon from which he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He is an active member of the bar of Virginia. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the United States Court of Claims, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Sixth, Seventh, Ninth, Tenth, District of Columbia and Federal Circuits. His constitutional practice has taken him into federal district courts in Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Montana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Wyoming, and the District of Columbia and the state courts of Idaho, Texas and North Dakota.

In which case, Paul Ryan, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio would be ineligible to run!

I appreaciate the honesty and courage (despite thier insanity) of REAL Birthers.....not the dishonesty of "I believe he's a citizen, but I still want to 'look into it'" Birther-Lites who want to retain a semblance of "credibility" while not making their Birther friends mad.

Atleast the true Birthers have some balls.

Unfortunately, for Mr. Titus, there is a difference between reading and comprehending...

Outright lying doesn't really fall into either of those...

Lol- not at all. Atheists are likely to be rational while the only rational Birthers are the ones just in it to fleece the gullible Birthers for their money.

Unlike Birthers- I hold all Presidents to the exact same standard when it comes to confirming their eligibility. I know Obama is eligible for the exact same way that I knew that Bush and Clinton was eligible.

But Birthers- they demand that Obama be treated differently.

Watching Birthers flip-flop on Birtherism to support Ted Cruz in 2016.....will be a joy to see.

    Karma....it IS a bi'ach. :D

When did Herb Titus become a famous constitutional scholar?

From what I've been able to find out, he's a religious fanatic and a protege of Pat Robertson.

It's easy to tell when liberals are either unsure of themselves or afraid of something in proportion to how much fuss they raise over that something. It seems to have little to do with logic for them.

    Their main uncertainties or fears:

    -Obama ineligible for office
    -Sarah Palin
    -Homosexuality being a mistake
    -Fox News
-Blacks who are Conservatives and successful

Now let them make up a Conservative list because that's how a liberal would make up a response to this post, instead of trying to discuss it.

Or better yet, maybe now that I've said that, they'll refrain from responding to this post at all.

Or maybe they'll just default to the liberal weakness-
    "You're nuts!"
"That is the stupidest post I've seen in a month."
"We get it, you don't like liberals."

Now they're probably tempted to make up a CONSERVATIVE response list in response.

    Nawwww, they wouldn't do that.

Assuming you are an American, and assuming you went to school- what were the eligibility requirements that you learned- that all of us learned- growing up?

Tom, Tom, Tom. I'll bet your were checking a LIBERAL source to get that, weren't you?

Naughty, naughty Tom. You know you should only depend on neutral sources.

    And you've derailed...

You realize there's not really a fuss being made...

    You're just being intensely mocked...

Even most of the most hardcore birthers have abandoned this sunken ship...

I don't think Pat Robertson's bible college (Regent University), even had a law school until fairly recently.

So far, its' most famous alumnus is Monica Goodling, the Assistant Attorney General to the disgraced Alberto Gonzales. Her role was to be point girl for Rove's national voter caging operation. She dimed out her boss in return for a plea deal.

That's the kind of jurists you get from Regent University!

Meanwhile, I will just point out once again- Birthers are just idiots and prove it over and over. And that is why Republicans treat them like the political lepers that they are.

This is part of your sig, Jeff.

And it's not true. BOTH things are the problem with marriage.
And in their own way, equally repugnant and bad for society.

Repubs treat them like lepers because IF the birthers are wrong, the Repubs don't want to be connected with them. Libs do the same thing in other areas. It's sad.

But I'm confident (not certain) that many Repubs doubt Obama's legal eligibility, they just won't admit it publicly.

Every time you giggle at me, you giggle at you more.

You just don't know it. :)

    Well thanks for your opinion.

While conservatives occasionally mention divorce as something they would prefer didn't happen, they don't spend any time actually denouncing it.

Divorce flourishes with nary a word said, but Conservatives blame homosexuals for the collapse of the institution of marriage. I find that hypocrisy amusing.
