Will Retired Seniors Really Have To Be Fired Over Obamacare?

It's a good question that needs to be answered. We have all seen senior citizens working long after retirement because they need extra money to survive or that they just want to be involved in doing something constructive. Now Obamacare has them in disarray because they might have to be let go from their jobs.

Why would they be let go because of the ACA?

 

Because companies are penalizes for hiring retired workers, if it's true. The link says the law is over 2,000 pages so they haven't been able to verify it's in the law.

I wonder if it applies to workers that retired from a company then return to the same company or if it applies to retirees that return to work for a different business.

I am reading the OP as a real question and a very serious one at that. A 2,000 page document that nobody read. Who the hell knows what is it. So what the OP is asking can be a real thing

 

A. I read it. It's not that hard.

B. Why in the world would think retired people would worry about this? When you are old enough to retire you're likely old enough for Medicare. ACA has nothing to do with Medicare.

Stupid. Senior citizens already have health care, so their employers don't have to provide it to them. Why fire people you don't have to provide heath care to. In fact is could help seniors find employment.

First, your premiums are not that high. Second, get insurance through your employer or go on medicare

 

listen carefully..yes it is that fricking high..i am self employed..i work for myself...and medicare is 65 and older..so at 62 i am too fricking young still...
