Will Dems, media condemn remarks that spawned death threat against Ted Cruz?

On Friday, we reported that authorities are investigating a death threat leveled against Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, on Twitter. The threat was no doubt spawned by the non-stop campaign of hate by Democrats and their allies in the so-called "mainstream media." At least two conservative outlets wondered Saturday if those responsible would engage in a bit of soul-searching or condemn the comments that preceded the threat.

"Politics aside, although the media will never publicly acknowledge the possibility that their 'othering campaign' might have contributed to a death threat against a U.S. Senator serious enough to involve police, let's hope that privately there is at least some soul searching going on," John Nolte wrote at Breitbart.com.

The FBI is investigating far left nut Troy Gilmore Jr.

Isn’t it about time Democratic leaders quit fueling hatred and violence?

Now we know.
The unhinged nut who threatened Ted Cruz and his family was fueled by Democrat Party messaging.
The Daily Caller reported:

The man under FBI investigation for making violent threats against Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz was inspired to encourage violence by Democratic Party messaging efforts.

Troy Gilmore, Jr., who identifies himself as having served in the U.S. Navy, is under FBI investigation for possible violent threats on Twitter against Republican senator Cruz. The FBI has communicated with Gilmore as part of the investigation and is monitoring for possible violence inspired by Gilmore’s online writings.

“Given this is a security matter, all I can say is that we have notified the appropriate authorities of the threats,” Cruz spokeswoman Catherine Frazier told The Daily Caller.​

Could anyone imagine the Hew and Cry from the Dems if Reid, or any other Dem Senator were threatened?

To the op, they won't, because this came from a nobody. You can't expect Obama to apologize for every stupid or rash thing done by everyone left of center.

 

You can tell it is media driven ... Look at the bad press Senator Cruz has gotten over the government shutdown*.
He is a Senator while the Senate is run by Democrats and hasn't done crap to cause or abate the shutdown.

Death threats against people in Congress are at all time highs. Members of both parties are impacted by this. Did Republicans apologize for this guy?

or did they apologize to this Congresswomen?

Don't make out that somehow that "Carnival" Cruz is somehow being specially targeted.
