If you die in military combat, you are but a human sacrifice for a faceless corporate system of social control.

If you die protecting your family, it is in vain.

Your killer may likely walk free again one day.

If you die protecting a stranger, you never know what western evils their life may manifest, and you'll still just be dead.

All the wretched ills of Western society have brought us to the brink of collapse.

There is nothing left for us but death. The Grim Reaper waits eagerly to guide you.

And there is no honorable death to be had by anyone I see.

Dying to protect families and strangers is very honorable.

The honor in a death comes from the intent, not the result. I agree there is nothing honorable in dying for the corporatocracy, but more often than not when a soldier takes an action that he know will likely result in his death, he isn't thinking about his country, he is thinking about his battle buddy next to him. Nobody jumps on a grenade for the Flag or capitalism.

Nonsense, there are tens of millions of Americans that believe dying to further enrich the one percent (job creators) is the MOST honorable death of all. How can you argue with that many U.S patriots?

But if they're both fighting a corporate war, there is no honor in the first place.

They're both there for the wrong reasons anyway.

Were you trying to write a poem? If so it's not a very good one.

No, just a thread discussing the fact that as amerikans and westernized countries, our govt's inherent imperialism and filth negate our collective ability to die any kind of Honorable death.

Just a subtle reality check to all the blind idiotic "patriots" of the world.

    - - - Updated - - -

    OP negates that statement.

Is that an actual topic? It doesn't sound like one. Maybe you need to define your terms better. For example: do you even begin to understand the concept of honor? And what does "westernized" have to with anything? Extremely vague rhetorical nonsense that might have been a discussion.

    Its not vague.

I'm discussing the imperialism and debauchery of western civilization.

Westernized people are born into a lack of true honor.

Immigrants who choose to come here also lose their honor by doing so.

Not to mention the fact that most of the planet is now westernized.

Looks like the whole world is basically F'd now.

Unfortunate that you couldn't even answer basic questions about your own thread.

There's not a whole lot of honor in living either.

I'm not blind. I've seen the societies that those around the world have built around tribal or theocratic systems. And I'll gladly fight and die for the American system. Because it is far better than any other I've seen in the 22 countries I've been to. Many societies still blindly put their faith into individuals, or a small group of individuals to run their govt. And like history has shown repeatedly, individuals don't know what is best for a society. Democracy is the way to go!

If large multinational corporations who essentially run the world become the funding organisations and lobbying groups for Political parties don't they in effect become the people who run the Government and the Politicians their representatives too.

How many workers in these corporations get to vote on who they want in the boardroom?

The answer is no, not necessarily. I judge on the results. And it's not too hard to see that I am freer in the US than anywhere else I have been. The corporations have interests in the world, and they do lobby the govt to further those interests. That doesn't mean the govt does whatever they say.

When they don't do the biddings of their benefactors, they get ousted, or assassinated.

You certainly didn't ask any questions.

All you've done is weakly attempt to troll my OP.

I'll gladly answer a question, if you have one.

Try answering specific questions like the one's in post #9. Define your terms so it doesn't sound like vague incoherent nonsense.

If you're not cultured enough to know the implications surrounding the terms Westernized, and Imperialism, this thread might be a bit out of your league.

---With self respect you have the capacity to confer honor upon yourself. Do not divest yourself of this authority in pursuit of validation. As well, as far as this context is concerned, you cannot receive what you have not given; you cannot feel honored by that which you despise.

---Considering this, you should look within and make sure that what you find there, is respectable.
