Obama claims he never said he wanted to “fundamentally transform the United States of America”
Five days before the 2008 election, Obama said:

“We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

You can see and hear him saying those exact words in this video:

However, on February 2, 2014, Obama told Bill O’Reilly that he never said those words. Here is the transcript from the interview:

O’Reilly: OK. I got a letter from Kathy LaMaster, Fresno, California. I said I would read one letter from the folks, all right?

Obama: All right.

O’Reilly: “Mr. President, why do you feel it’s necessary to fundamentally transform the nation that has afforded you so much opportunity and success?”

Obama: I don’t think we have to fundamentally transform the nation.

O’Reilly: But those are your words.

So even though it’s on video that he said it, and even though his words have been widely quoted in many sources for years, he still insists that he never said it.

What does Obama’s denial say about his moral character? What can we say about someone who lies so casually about something which is so obviously false?

And what does it say about Obama’s estimation of the level of intelligence of the people to whom he is speaking? Does Obama really believe that people are so dumb that they would believe such an obvious lie?

IMHO, This is just one of the many obvious lies that Obama mouthed during the O'Reilly interview. Yet, people blame O'Reilly for asking the questions that Obama had to lie in order to make himself appear good, rather than be honest and truthful to himself and the American people.

 

Okaaaaay . . . so it would seem that Barack Obama is STILL an active stoner. How in the fork can he NOT remember having said, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America”? I mean, it was all over the news -- for more than a freaking month -- after he said it. He was touted as a visionary for having uttered those words. He might even have gotten his meaningless Nobel Peace Prize for having said it . . . and now he doesn't recall having said it at all? What the hell sort of super weed was he toking while on his last Hawaiian vacation that it very obviously fried some of his brain cells?

 

Probably doesn't remember what his opinion on marriage was either. Or how many states there are. How a movie caused Benghazi. Look a squirrel!!!!

 

To be fair, he didn't say that he didn't say it. He said that he doesn't think we need to fundementally change the nation eventhough he said he did. still disturbing and another in a long list of things that demonstrate the man will lie at the drop of a hat and can't be believed on anything at any time, ever.

 

Yep . . . and yet he was touted as being soooooooooo much more intelligent than G.W. Bush. Sigh!

You know it was common to say a monkey is smarter than a person before Obama became President.

If I thought Obama was a monkey I would have said so.

George Bush looks more like a monkey than Obama does.

I don't know about you but I barely remember my exact phrasings from yesterday. Let alone from years ago. Why does this say anything at all about the president other than he's human?

 

Because you're trying to compare your everyday chat with what was a well-thought out and crafted campaign speech that was repeated in the media several times. That phrase was crafted to be memorable and now he is trying to walk those words back when a person from Fresno called him out on those words.

It speaks volumes as to his arrogance, dishonesty and his expectations that he will not be held accountable for his own words and his own actions. To many of us, words mean things and we are not suckered or awed by glittering generalities. We want to know specifically what he meant by his words.

 

You guys still on this kick? You get a conservative wet dream and still you gotta hate on him. Nice game plan.
