Man Gets 16 years For Putting Infant In Freezer for Over An Hour

If a couple wants to raise a baby, they should have one. If they can't, they can use in-vitro or surrogate pregnancy, or sperm or egg donors.

If they really want to adopt a baby, they can also choose to go to a foreign country (like Korea, China, India, Africa. . . .) where there are more available healthy baby.

Do you know the main reason why children grow up in orphanage of foster care, although they are available for adoption? Because they have a disability. . .and those "kind hearts" who so much want to save fetus with severe disabilities from being aborted CHOOSE not to adopt one of those babies. . .waiting for the "perfect," "White," child!

A fetus becomes a baby when he is able to live outside of a woman's womb. However, in the heart and mind of women who WANT to have a child, the fetus takes the emotional shape of a "live baby" much earlier, sometimes even prior to the conception.

It is the ATTACHMENT to the mere idea of a child that gives even a zygote the "image" of a baby. In fact, the extreme pro-lifers are USING that technique to try to place a guilt trip on any woman who is even thinking of terminating a pregnancy.

Should we create a new bureaucracy with about 1,200 salaried employees, full benefits and pensions, to decide who is allowed to have children?

Could we start with people on welfare? Children are expensive, and if people can't afford them, they shouldn't be allowed to have them.

 

Every poster in this thread right now was once a fetus. They were also once a zygote. Think about that. We did not get to be the live persons we are today without going through each and every one of those stages of LIFE.
LIFE begins at the moment of conception when the sperm enters the egg and cells start to multiply. There is NO denying these FACTS.....no matter how someone tries to rationalize them away.

 

The only ones doing that are the mothers of such pregnancies; and making that decision is within their Constitutional rights.

I really don't think the time span of freezing the infant would be that difficult to figure out w/the medical knowledge/expertise they now have, not to mention the so-called 'father' may have looked at the time when he laid himself down for his little nappy-poo or he may have remembered what program was on the tv when he drifted off into slumberland when he was questioned by the authorities..... and of course, the mother would know what time she got home when she saw him take the infant out of the freezer.

You suspect the wife or gf wanted to 'get rid' of him? Gee, I can't imagine why the mother would want to get rid of him after she saw him take their baby out of the FREEZER....

This happened in Tacoma, so he'll probably be sent to Monroe, which is a shame. They really should ship this worthless POS to Walla Walla - the hard-core pen in this state and 16 yrs isn't long enuf for what he did to his 6 week old baby, breaking her bones, causing head injury and shoving her in a freezer.....
