You're the one trying to make it significant, though.

Ha ha - another in-denial liberal butthurt by the outcome of this week's election.

I have some advice for all you butthurt Democrats: shut up for a while. Just listen. Maybe you'll learn something.

of course they don't get celebrated, why shud they? wud the nra celebrate it if some prominent official after an election wud now represent a political platform that advocates for strict gun regulations? wud some crazy religious community celebrate it if one of their leaders wud become a democratic representative and thus advocate marriage equality?
they r a group that fights for the advancement of blacks, if they feel that the gop is a group which goals go in the very opposite direction, why wud they celebrate someone who joins that organization, they can't celebrate anyone from the gop regardless of race.
if this view on the gop is justified or reasonable doesn't matter to the argument...

its actually quite ridiculous that so many, even some commonly not so stupid ones, try to argue differently here:roll:

Sorry, Foxie, but the hypocrisy belongs to the left. You know, the folks who will vote for a man only because he's a black man and a leftist. Racist and socialist are the core values.

It's not possible for the hypocritical leftists to say the Mia Love and Tim Scott are qualified, experienced, capable, and we disagree with their politics. No, it has to be racist slurs and personal attacks and then the leftist whine about civility. Hypocrisy is a defining characteristic of the left. The attacks on Justice Thomas and Condeleeza Rice are always racist. And you're proud of Barack Obama and Al Sharpton? Amazing.

Man-child? What? Did you get this post confused with one for your friends in NAMBLA?

Sorry, Patty, but the hypocrisy belongs to the right. You know, the folks who will vote against a man only because he's a black man and a leftist. Racism and sexism the core values.

It's not possible for the hypocritical righties to say Obama is qualified, experienced, capable, and we disagree with his politics. No, it has to be racist slurs and personal attacks and then the righties whine about civility. Hypocrisy is a defining characteristic of the right. The attacks on Justice Thomas and Condeleeza Rice are always racist.

Man-child? What? YES, that is what several righty posters in here and other places called Obama ....their "clever" play on "boy"....all the while insisting they weren't racist.

Right. The people who just elected a black woman in a white Republican district. Uh-huh...

That's because Mr. Obama is not experienced and only marginally capable. Why should we lie? Just 'cause he's black?

The truth is that Mr. Obama is the Liar-In-Chief. That's his one distinguishing characteristic, he lies almost as much as Hillary.

Huh? Attacks on Thomas and Rice from the right?

Obviously they're using a page out of the Democratic playbook. After all, the Democrats invented PC - and look where it got 'em.

My opinion aplies to all. That man just came into office. I guess there's a certain amount of celebration everyone receives for having advanced themselves, but I just don't even see why organizations like the NAACP or the Congressional Black Caucus are seen as good. It teaches self-segregation and promotes that tribalism they claim to be fighting.

    Ah well...

I am glad you had enough sense to try and copy my post. I'm sorry you screwed it up.

IT's because two people didn't get the recognition not the GOP. What an insult to blacks in general that the NAACP ignores their accomplishment.

Well, the organization certainly "speaks for" and "praises" the blacks who win races who are Democrats......based on the fact they are black. And the very name, "National Association For the Advancement of Colored People," would lead someone to believe they were for the advancement of blacks, NO MATTER which side they are on politically.

The GOP spokesperson in the OP is right-on. The NAACP is NOT bipartisan and not for the advancement of colored people.....UNLESS they have a "D" by their name. Shame on them for NOT congratulating Congresswoman-elect Love, and Sen Scott's election for their historic wins.

Because the organization that did not mention them is explicitly and overtly about race. If you cannot grasp this them you are either really dense, or being intentionally obtuse.

The NAACP is not for all colored people, just selected colored people. And why do they call blacks, colored people? Isn't that racist?

You are really saying, (my additional word noted): "If the race of these two does not matter, then why bring up that an organization (who supports only one race, that being the race included in the name of the organization) did not mention their race?

The very name of the organization cancels out your argument. TFM. I know you are intelligent. You make interesting arguments all the time. I think you argue just for fun, even when there is no point in doing so. But you are taking this one too far. Its like watching a one legged man trying to cross an ice field without a crutch.
