Just take a look at the graphic at the link. All the Democrats have to do is hang tight for two more years of idiocy and nonsense from the right wing and then things can only improve. This is really something to look forward to.

 

Well he is wrong.

Elections are won by voter turnout of the base and both parties have a base that is anywhere from 45% to 47% consistently. Demographics do not play a big enough role in that to matter.

He is looking at the aging white population as a whole, not as prospective voters and that is a flawed way to draw up an analysis of voting patterns.

Democrats have been the big city party for more than a century. No news there.

The old machines specialized in patronizing immigrant groups in exchange for bloc votes. Democrats are desperate to do the same now. That's why Obama is willing to break the law and risk a Constitutional crisis to get millions of new votes from illegal aliens - "undocumented immigrants." The long-ago immigrants were mostly legal and could vote. Democrats have counted on importing voters for many years now, but most of the imports have been illegal and unable to vote. So we come to "Comprehensive Immigration Reform," i.e., buying Latino votes.

Assuming Republicans have the balls to stop Obama (and that may be a big assumption), Democrats can be thwarted. Then they can go on winning the same states dominated by big cities they always have, and lose elections. That's also why Democrats are trying to get rid of the Electoral College. Today, the President is elected by state delegations in the EC. With direct election, the minorities Democrats patronize would weigh more heavily in results.

By the way, another name for "aging, white, rural voters" is Americans, unless you think only illegal immigrants should be able to vote. If immigrants come to outnumber Americans in their own country, it's only because Americans let them. Yet another reason Democrats are so keen to have America the only country in the world that doesn't control and limit immigration. Most Americans disapprove of liberal policies, so Democrats need foreigners hungry for benefits to win elections. But that's not inevitable. Americans have to let it happen. Democrats know they've got 2 years left to make Americans a minority in their own country. One tool is to pretend that Americans are "racist" for disallowing unlimited immigration. Some will be cowed by this. I'm betting enough will laugh at Democrats and demand action from their Congressmen. So watch and wait. If Democrats can't pack the voting rolls with illegal aliens, they're done.

If you think I'm a "white racist," please name one other country that allows unlimited uncontrolled immigration.

P.S. Lyndon Johnson was the last Democrat candidate for President to win a majority of white votes. Does this mean most white people are "racists," or that they see where their interests lie?
