Ive had three pyrenees. Awesome dogs! Theyre not called the gentle giants for nothing. Our kittens and duck used to crawl all over rex.

Not to mention that animals/dogs get hurt running obstacle courses but I see nobody calling for an end to them! http://speakingforspot.com/blog/2014/02/16/injuries-affecting-agility-dogs/

so what... owning a dog your entire life is "direct experience" your unverifiable e-claims of expertise that you spout off because it's a way to attack Palin (but not Ellen) don't matter since they are all unverifiable.

Speaking of Great Pyrnees and kittens: I worked the graveyard shift and would come in at 8 in the morning and 7 kittens and one mama cat were sleeping right on the dog. He would lift his head when I came in and go "woof" and all the cats would stretch and slowly move off him and then he would gain his feet and want to go out! His name was: BaBaToePay. Unfortunately I had him in town and my neighbors forced me to give him to the Great Pyrnees Rescue League where he found a wonderful home with lots of room to roam and nobody caring if he barks at a squirrel but dang...I still miss him terribly. I have a Pekingese now and love him right to death but...I still miss BaBa! :(

you can't seem to get anything right

why did you edit out so much of his post? it's pretty obvious

palin posted a photo of her kid standing on a dog, she deserves every bit of the lambasting, she's getting

not so much the owning, but the study, commitment, travel and close contact

the asian tourist on the left, is looking around, trying to figure out why my mastiff is in the louvre

lets just forget that your progressive idol, Ellen condoned the exact same behavior.... and all you say is "I disagree"

you excuse Ellen's support of said behavior with a slap on the wrist that you lamblast Palin for.

#shhhh, you agenda is exposed and your love of dog is simply a thinly veiled reason to attack

    he's probably hungry....

again... you're a dog owner..... nothing more than me (except you are 10 years older than me, roughly)

your comments show your ineptitude on the subject

ethical owners don't allow anyone to stand or sit on their dog

which is why professionals have to warn so many people about bad behavior

do you think it's a good idea to allow children to stand on dogs?

the ethics i observe attempt to reduce harm, especially from unnecessary acts like standing on a dog

there's no good reason for it to happen, not one good reason

Again, ignoring my post (twice, post 545 and 560 in this thread) doesn't mean that you are right, just that you prefer to stick your head in the sand and refuse to look at REALITY!

Dear. . . you are smart enough to figure out that it is not about Trig's misbehavior. . .but about the PARENT not teaching her kid to have respect and consideration for "their favorite pet!"

So, yes. . . Palin IS a Republican, pretty extreme in the manner of fact!

Small correction: they dont have down syndrome. They are down syndrome. Its not a condition you have, its something you are.

    Carry on.

Dear.... check the post I responded to. He was specifically mentioning the down syndrome boy and how he hopes he doesn't end up drinking / fighting and what not. Not sarah, the child.

    Negative.

"Each person with Down syndrome is an individual — intellectual and developmental problems range from mild to moderate, and some people are healthy while others have severe health problems such as serious heart defects.

Children with Down syndrome have a distinct facial appearance. Though not all children with Down syndrome have the same features, some of the more common features are:"

Hmmm Mayo clinic seems to disagree. Who is probably right.... Mayo clinic ( one of the best hospitals in the world ) or random lady on a political forum........ ill take mayo clinic. Carry on.

I also suggest you do some research and educate yourself on the subject. This is a good start

i'm not so sure, it keeps coming up over and over

no matter how many times they're reminded that it's about the parent's actions

notice how he didn't say the child was responsible for standing on the dog
