This is what living in a civilized society looks like. What we saw in France today, not so much. But apparently Europe needs Islamic immigrants from the 3rd world.
If Fascists werent trying so hard to kick out a group of predominately brown people, Muslims, than the left wingers would be more supportive of fighting Islam, but when they see their worst enemy, fascists, attacking a group of almost exclusively brown people it is the left wingers natural reaction to defend those minorities. If the Fascists stop trying to kick them out for being a different religion and for being brown, I guarantee you the left wing will join in against Islam, but we cant if the movement is hijacked by racist fascist Christians, which it is. We hate Islam for different reasons, the right wing hates Islam because they are mostly brown and simply a different religion, left wingers hate Islam because we hate all religion, including Christianity.

Civilization is such a fragile thing... But leftists don't understand that. They take it for granted. They think it's the default condition. Barbarity is the default, and soon we might be there.
