Turning people away at the border has been counted as deportations by the Obama regime.
Since Obama simply released tens of thousands of violent felons from ICE custody, and welcomed and facilitated thousands of children from Central America moving across our border (who they now admit they've lost track of) the idea that he has been a real deportation hawk is asinine!

 

But that doesn't really refute what I said. His enforcement, as he said, has been much stronger than that of the previous president. And he has emphasized getting rid of the criminals, which is where the emphasis should be placed, in my opinion.

 

No, he doesn't state his enforcement is stronger, he stated his enforcement shifted, he simply changed the way deportations were counted.

 

So, getting rid of the criminals and interdicting illegal immigrants at the border is weaker than not getting rid of the criminals and interdicting illegal immigrants at the border?

 

Interior enforcement has all been stopped. Obama just released thousands of jailed illegals with convictions back into our communities instead of deporting them, blaming budget cuts.

As long as they are in removal proceedings, then hey why not, right? Less than 25% ever show up for their hearings.

 

Changing the way we count things has become a staple of this administration. Regardless of how you count:

(number of deportable illegal aliens) MINUS (deportations) is way bigger than ZERO.

Between the hassles of very narrow networks, high deductibles, yearly out of pocket costs. Then add to that penalty for NO insurance and with the 800,000 erroneous 1095-A tax forms that will bollix up folks income tax returns, a nice penalty for those that did. Better yet Hillary is all over the internet with support for that fiasco, the future is grim for Democrats. If it makes you feel good to believe it's any different, more power to ya Brother.

My stand on immigration has definitely be moved by President Obama's desire to flood the country with illegal aliens and Rep. Pelosi's declaration that there shouldn't even be a border. The U.S. and Mexico are, according to the leftists, one community with a border running through it.

I live in Mexico and have a great deal of respect for Mexican citizens. It saddens me when I'm asked if it's true that President Obama is going to let everyone in. My response is that yes, it's true, but he'll only be president for another two years. Then, with luck, we'll get someone who cares about America.

I should mention it isn't just Americans. Most evenings when I walk my dog I meet young men from Guatemala who are heading north with high hopes. They've heard President Obama's call, too.

 

why wouldn't we. Many people have changed their position on that issue in particular over time, especially when confronted with real life issues. As a Christian the President was raise with a particular set of ideals that didn't include gay marriage. Over time even some of the Christian denominations changed how they viewed this issue. To suggest the President couldn't change his mind is stupid on its face.

 

He 'evolved' at election time. To suggest otherwise "is stupid on its face".

 

no he didn't.....sorry he was already President when he stated that fact that he supports gay marriage. It was before the election season started and it wasn't an issue in his election with Romney. so....................your facts are wrong and your conclusion is wrong and your position is wrong.
