    Laughable!

Bush supplied nukes to North Korea and ISIS was created under his watch when he killed off Saddam.

Significantly, ISIS has only attacked Muslims and created great instability in the ME. If this organization is so hell bent on spreading Islam to the world as some say, why doesn't it ever target Israel?

It's a good bet that certain neocons may have the answer.

You were talking about the state of science in Iran and my post was addressing that issue, with links to tell a story that I am sure you don't want told. You want to change the subject? Fine.

You see, Iran is actually a lot more as I have presented it here than anything you have to say about it, which is not quite the same as saying Iran is better than the US for everyone. My own family emigrated to the United States in the wake of the Iranian revolution. I went to junior high school, high school, college and law school in the US. Practiced law in the US for more than 10 years. Then moved back to Iran. Lived here without a second thought about that decision, although as my children are growing, my wife prefers that we move to the US. While I might one day return to the US, that doesn't mean any of the nonsense about Iran you like to paint is true.

But what you say does raise a rather ironic question: how is that the image of the US in Iran is more favorable than the reality of life in the US, while the image of Iran in the US is such an utter lie? I ask this because when you visit Iran and immediately realize what practically everyone who visits Iran realizes immediately, namely that the stereotypes about Iran and the image of the country is a total lie, the question then arises: how can a country that is so often in the news, be so falsely pictured? What does that fact say about the US, its media, and its political institutions? This is a question that arises for almost every American and westerner who travels to Iran. From backpackers to family tourists to business executives.

In the meantime, while I wanted to show some of the monuments and places that Iran has to show to a visitor, the pictures below aren't about glossy monuments. These aren't focused on any particular positive or negative feature of Iran. They are overhead shots presenting an overview of Iran's capital, Tehran.

Backpacking Iran does not interest many backpackers I know.

Tried web searching for Iranian's jailed in America, but keep coming up with story after story of Americans jailed in Iran. Seems the propaganda machine is one-sided or the truth is far from the post cards you produced.

You sound like a smart person. My advise is to stay in Iran, to help rebuild and repopulate after your Countries' leaders start a M.A.D. with it's nuclear ambition and rantings of destroy Israel.

As for the "glossy", tourist pictures, the ones I posted before focused mainly on Iran's top tourist attractions for western tourists -- in places like Isfahan, Shiraz as well as Tehran. I haven't even scratched the surface with my pictures of what those places have to offer, some of which are absolutely stunning.

But let me show you other areas of Iran. I will start with Iranian Azerbaijan -- cities like Tabriz, Ardebil and Urmia, and the surrounding countryside.

I never suggested you go backpacking in Iran without a visa, wondering into Iran from Iraq!

Here is what actual backpackers have said about traveling to Iran. Stories you can get just searching google and in a major travel website!

Next to Iranian Azerbaijan you have the Caspian coast, which is popular with Iranian tourists and serves as a major getaway for people from Tehran as well. The Iranian provinces which border the Caspian sea are Mazanderan, Gilan and Golestan.

If you go to south of Iran, you also find Kish Island, which is extremely popular with Iranian tourists. Kish may not be all that interesting for a western tourist who will naturally prefer to see things they can't see in their own countries, but Kish attracts millions of Iranian tourists each year. Besides offering a range of activities like scuba diving, jet skiing and the like, Kish is popular for its many shopping malls (I posted a picture of one of them, Sarina 1, already elsewhere in this thread and won't post pictures of those malls here).

Another place that if generally not in the itinerary of western tourists in Iran (who rightly focus on Isfahan, Shiraz, Yazd, and Tehran), is Iran's 2nd largest city, Mashhad. Mashhad attracts millions of religious pilgrims, not just from Iran, but from other countries including Iraq. The article below discusses some of Mashhad's attractions for Iraqi tourists, who flock to Mashhad for more than its religious sites:

In the pictures I had posted earlier, I had given you an overview of Tehran, as well as glimpses of things you can see in Iran's historic cities like Isfahan and Shiraz. Later, I also posted pictures of Tabriz in Iranian Azerbaijan, of the Caspian coast area (Mazanderan, Gilan and Golestan), and Mashhad. Is there more to Iran? You bet there is: there is still the historic cities of Yazd (the largest mud brick city in the world with its amazing wind tunnels and underground water system), Kashan (with its beautiful historic homes), of Hamedan (ancient Ecbatana) and nearby Kermanshah (with the Naghshe Rustam carvings which include the depiction of the Roman emperor, Valerian, captured and kneeling in front of the Persian emperor Shapour), of Susa (one of the ancient capitals of the Achaemenid empire), among dozens of other places that each have much to commend and see. While you can find isolated pictures (never mind fabricated ones) that will try to pain Iran differently, I am showing you here is from the four corners of Iran!

Yazd, the largest mud brick city in the world, is actually quite popular with western tourists and rightly so. It is a truly interesting place.

I have only scratched the surface with regard to Iran, shown you its different regions and some their main attractions. But can you imagine how silly it is for the country I am showing you to be portrayed as it is by propaganda artists and spin masters in the Israel and the west? If it weren't for the fact that for many Americans and westerners, Iran remains terra incognita, it would be an utter joke and we could all laugh about it. But knowing that the silly propaganda image of Iran is meant to advance quite sinister and deadly objectives, it really becomes something that is quite upsetting!

While it will be tough, I want to choose 8 pictures from all the ones I have posted to summarize the image I like to leave with you. I hope I have picked the right ones as there are several of my favorites I have had to leave out!

So in order to see what backpacking in Iran is like, you tried "searching for Iranian's jailed in America" but came up with "story after story of Americans jailed in Iran"? Most people when searching for backpacking in Iran would type "backpacking in Iran". Perhaps you did did not like the search results

I posted links to the first 3 backpacking articles that appeared when I searched under "Backpacking in Iran" using Google. I have not yet come across an article that didn't have raving reviews.

You are at the point where you are coming on the board and throwing out absurd allegations with zero reference or substantiation.

    1. prove Bush gave North Korea nuclear missiles
    2. prove how Bush created ISIL.

The above two statements are patently false. Now back them up with proof.

Even the British foreign secretary, coming to Tehran to reopen the British embassy, discovers that Iran is really not the country he had imagined it would.

Reagan shared CIA sat-intel, with Iran, when CIA-asset Saddam was invading Iran.

Saddam had his back all stabbed, again and again, but hey. He knew the CIA was on top of him, right?

Now US punks killed Saddam, for being a material witness, to GW Bush's and daddy's sedition.

Wouldn't you know it! Some of 'em want to go stabbing, in the direction, of Iran, again.

I doubt if Donald Trump is really one of those, for my own reasons.

He's more of a fisherman, getting hassled, by punks he's boating with, who are rude visitors, to his business.

Let's find out how true this is. I bet 100%. Does anyone bet, here?:fingerscrossed:
