BREAKING: Eight Syrian Migrants Captured at Texas Border in Laredo

Eight Syrian migrants were caught crossing into the United States from Mexico this week.

“Two federal agents operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are claiming that eight Syrian illegal aliens attempted to enter Texas from Mexico in the Laredo Sector. The federal agents spoke with Breitbart Texas on the condition of anonymity, however, a local president of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) confirmed that Laredo Border Patrol agents have been officially contacting the organization with concerns over reports from other federal agents about Syrians illegally entering the country in the Laredo Sector. The reports have caused a stir among the sector’s Border Patrol agents.

The sources claimed that eight Syrians were apprehended on Monday, November 16, 2015. According to the sources, the Syrians were in two separate “family units” and were apprehended at the Juarez Lincoln Bridge in Laredo, Texas, also known officially as Port of Entry 1."

Whoops, If eight Muslim Syrian men were caught trying to cross the border at Laredo, just how many more have made it across and are in the US prepared to launch attacks? Now we find that five other Muslims with forged Greek passports were caught in Honduras. That's a total of thirteen in one day. IMO, Obama's failure to shut down our southern borders will allow the Muslim terrorists just more avenues of opportunity to get into the US and attack Americans.

 

News: when we have evidence that security is working, it's actually evidence that our security is failing. Hooray!

 

In the interests of accuracy, the article says eight Syrians in two “family units” so it’s highly unlikely to be eight men. It’s also worth noting that while they’re probably Muslim based on raw statistics, it’s no guaranteed. It should also be made clear that “How man have crossed the border?” and “How many are prepared to launch attacks?” are two distinct questions.

I’m also curious over when you say “shut down out southern borders” you mean controlled entry only or complete shut down, with nobody in, nobody out.

 

8 Syrian refugees in two separate family units were apprehended, yet nothing in the article mentions anything about launching attacks. BTW, they were apprehended at the border, on the Juarez Lincoln bridge, which is an official entry point into the United States in Laredo.

 

So anyone want to guess where the ISIS attack in the US will be? I have heard they want to attack New York or Washington DC. I guess that would get the most attention. I am glad I do not live in those cities. It does look as though an attack is eminent. I hope our security is good enough to stop it before it happens.

 

If ISIS is going to try to attack New York or Washington DC, they will use persons who self radicalize from the internet rather than risk sending people here.

 

If their intention is to follow the operative tactics they showed in Paris, they will reach a wide city where it's easy not to be noted [who notes an Arab looking guy in some quarters of New York??? But from WIKI I get that there are many Arabs also in California. Anyway the large majority of Arab Americans are Christians]. Probably they will avoid areas with high concentration of police and security cameras and they will try and do something in not protected places like cinemas, supermarkets, outskirts churches, public squares [not in the center of the cities: too many officers around] ...

A suggestion to Americans: keep your concealed weapons with you when you go shopping ...

 

So you feel that catching two Syrian families crossing our borders is a simple problem? If they were able to get this far, just how many Islamic terrorists have successfully traveled the same route and are in the U.S. at this time.

Only question is when. If before the elections than the Democrats are toast. If after the elections it depends on who is elected as to the magnitude of our response but Obama will still take it in the 'shorts'...

 

If they were apprehended, why would you assume any Islamic terrorists successfully travelled the same route? Your fear mongering is devoid of logic. Past experience tells us that any terrorists in the US are more likely to have entered legally on a student or tourist visa, or to be US citizens, than to have snuck in from Mexico.

 

If they were smart, which is doubtful, they would direct concern for someplace like New York and DC, and hit smaller cities like Cleveland Oh, or maybe Branson.

 

They wouldn't be carrying their AK47s so they will going straight to the nearest gun show.

 

Eight Muslim Syrian men? actually it was two men, two women, and 4 children. US government officials say they have no evidence that the family has any ties to terrorism.The men in Honduras were also not believed to have any ties to terrorism, according to Honduran authorities they were "five male college students fleeing the violence wrought by IS and the four-year-old civil war in Syria"

Should we be concerned about border security? sure, that's why people aren't allowed to walk over to the US from Canada anymore, the 9/11 attackers came into Canada on visitors visas and crossed over to the US
