Speaker of the House Paul Ryan has shown his true colors by selling out America via the omnibus bill. This piece of excrement was Mitt Romney's running mate in the VP slot which begs the question, if Ryan was a Democrat plant in that election what was his purpose? In the event something happens to the president the VP is next in line, if elected would something have happened to Romney? Don't forget who Romney was running against, the very same man who went to bed while four Americans died in Libya. Four men who had to die because Obama was running for re-election. Had he lost to Romney was Ryan some sort of insurance, a surrogate planted to continue the Obama agenda? It certainly seems that that is the very thing Ryan is doing now.

A massive appropriations bill expected to be approved by Congress would provide more than $1.6 billion to resettle illegal immigrants arriving at the U.S. border through 2018.

How quickly you go from the next savior of conservatism and financial whiz kid to traitor and sellout :).

I think the far right is going to go through this time and time again, creating the next star as proponent of small government and low taxes, only to be let down when they get into office and face the actual reality of what it entails to govern. Their current heroes in the general election, like Cruz, Carson and Trump , will go through the same cycle, should they be elected. That's because it is much easier to tell tales of magical spending cuts when you are on the campaign trail, but much harder to actually enact them once in office and facing realities and agendas of many other people involved.

Funny how the left never learned this, they just blamed republicans for it.

I would agree that the left also tends to get their hopes up, only to be let down, for example by Obama. He turned out to be a pragmatists rather than the champion of the little guy. At least this time, there are no hopes since Hillary is known as an establishment candidate. She will keep the corporatist system going, which is why I don't understand the right is so upset with her. When corporatist GWB was in office, they were all on his side.
