Cannabis use might not be the reason your child is stupid

More studies need to be done in every aspect, since it has been denied for over 100 years now. It will be interesting to see studies that are not bias, and what they actually turn up.

I think a lot of brainwashed people are going to be surprised, or continue to be in denial. It is going to be hard to shake off almost a century of lies/propaganda.

pot in the 60's is not the same crap they smoke now...much worse now..more potent and filled will highly toxic chemicals now...

have you seen the chemicals they use to make it grow free from the bugs ?...i wouldn't use that garbage on any of my plants or veggies...

 

Most growers I know use completely organic methods. Anyone who would spray a chemical on a plant you end up smoking needs to have their head examined. Most bug measures surround a plant , but aren't on the actual plant.

 

Thats true if its outdoor grown, but the vast majority i come across has been grown inside and you can really taste the difference between them. Of course i live in a state bordered by California and Colorado, so that may have something to do with it..

But its about time a study came out debunking this nonsense, it has always been my belief that society itself does far more to make children less intelligent than some plant ever could.

 

i live in calif where we are surrounded by oak trees which have tons of silk worms..so they spray them all the time because the worms go after to buds...you can smell the chemicals a long ways away..then they smoke this crap and say it gives them a bigger high...no wonder why kids are so messed up in this state...

Yet the food you eat is packed full of the same garbage, not to mention what they add to it afterwards. And don't even get me started on the sewer water that grows our veggies that come from Mexico now.

that too..teachers are stoners too...i am teaching my 8 yra old grand daughter math and she keeps telling me thats not how my teacher does it...she keeps telling me the teacher say she doesn't have to remember the times table..but she always gets a's doing it our way...and she is helping me with my bookkeeping ...i had to let my last three employees go because they could not pass drug test required almost every three months..now my youngest employee is 57...

Actually it was the lazy Mexican, then the crazy maniac, then the LaGuardia Report busted that fairy tale (unfortunately there are still some today that think if you smoke pot you will think you are Superman because of that ridiculous bit of nonsense), Then the black people got the blame, then the beat nicks who liked black music, then the Hippies were too blame, then Cheech and Chong. What was interesting is the hillbilly rednecks who grew/used cannabis and sold it too the Mexicans, blacks, beat nicks, hippies, and Cheech and Chong themselves, for decades never got placed in the shuffle. Go figure?

 

Sequential Matrix tests are sadly for homo sapiens only. Using tests for other genus species such as dogs, I would place a ball or treat under one of 3 cups.

Digit span tests are also useful to do non-biased human testing.

 

Smoking pot is not for losers. Dope is a broad term. You have to know how to use cannabis properly.

 

Cannabis should replace alcohol as America's drug of choice, it's MUCH safer with no hang over.

 

I agree. You might feel a bit groggy but you might be more well rested as well.

 

yes..when you do jobs for the government contracts they require drug tests..and if they fail they are banned from being on job sites...not my rules...liberal rules

 

The headline reads as follows; "New study alleges that marijuana may not make people stupid after all". When I see the word "alleges" rather than "proves" and "may not" rather than "does not" I know I am reading speculation rather than a scientifically proven empirical fact.

I do agree that more studies need to be done.

 

It's is pretty much that way in most jobs these days. I have no problem with firing somebody who is high or drunk at work, but firing a good worker who casually uses cannabis, is politically motivated BS. And no I do not smoke pot.

 

They explain the study, and admit they need to do further tests to corroborate their findings. They are being honest, which is more than I can say for a government, that defines cannabis in a drug category it scientifically doesn't meet the characteristics/standards for, but do it anyway because they said so. I think the government has already lost all credibility in this circumstance.
