Do I really need a link to point out how the left says we have a greater chance of being eaten by a shark than killed in a terrorist attack? By spouting out comments like that the left dismisses the shoe bomber, underwear bomber, and all the terrorists who we're able to stop before they do their terrorism thing. My point was just because we stopped them, and the gov should be commended for it, doesn't mean terrorists don't exist in this country. If the left really believed that terrorism was a danger they'd want to prevent Muslim refugees from coming here and seal our borders. Since they don't, I can only assume the left doesn't see Muslims as a threat - or the PC in them prevents them from saying it.

Irrational fears of haji in the woodpile are a bigger threat than the actual threat. Calm, cool and objective will keep you and yours safe much better than knee-jerk panic based on stereotypes and over-hyped/made-up/imagined threats. Murphy dictates that while you are spending your efforts examining every haji you see, some non-haji is going to pee in your wheaties or worse.

And if you call me a lefty I am going to laugh my ass off.

If you are saying the left is saying it never happened, it would be nice. I suspect you just assume that is what people think and your statement is not based on reality.

What I'm saying is that this guy seems to have been reported by one or more people who ended up becoming "confidential informants". They probably recorded the calls themselves, or the FBI got a warrant based on their report. Just stating that I highly doubt it came from one of our "4th amendment no longer exists" programs. Edit: likely comes from me reading into the OP, but I'm pretty adamant about the termination of these programs.

Certainly a good catch and I don't need to read to logs, what he told the cops was crazy enough. Guy has watch too much James Bond or something. I'm sure they'll hit him with terrorist charges before this is all over. Doubt they'll be able to make an entrapment defense given how dedicated this idiot was.

it isnt about proof, it is about being able to write a sentence that makes sense.

I'm not attempting to suggest this was an event only discovered by a mass AT&T wiretapping turnover event where their computers and switches scan for keywords in foreign languages and they stumbled across this... I'm saying what they are saying, somehow they became aware of him, either because he reached out to people the FBI has implanted in these communities to sell weapons and connect them to terrorists on purpose, in order to catch them doing something illegal, or like you suggest perhaps someone he knew or was one of the three individuals involved contacted the FBI out of fear his actions were becoming a reality... I have not taken the time to research who the other two people he had conversations with were, to see if criminal charged were filed against them as well or not, and under what circumstances...

you understand what I am saying, you just dislike it, so once again, nothing having to do with data or proof... just your own stereotypes and hate...

Wait a minute. A machine gun? A suppressor? These things are illegal. According to Obama making something illegal means terrorists cant get them. After all we dont see these kind of things happening in other countries. Please ignore the AK-47s used in Paris on multiple occasions.

writing a sentence that can be comprehended isnt about hate or stereotypes, it is really about your writing skills.

I think that the informants were actually FBI agents were out presenting an opportunity and this guy took the bait. Kinda like the show Bait Car, but instead of an opportunity to steal a car they provided an opportunity to buy automatic weapons illegally with an intent to commit a terrorist attack.

I think the FBI is out there in the mosques fishing for these guys, even today.

you seem to comprehend everything I've said enough to reply directly to what was stated... this would mean you understood exactly what I was saying in the message that put you in a position unable to directly reply to it... which left you to instead attack my formatting skills... which I don't deny are annoying, however I enjoy the dots...

P.S. you know I actually don't understand what you said despite replying directly to it, because you seemed to have made a grammatical error... "isnt" isn't a word... or were you referring to the "Indian Society for Non-destructive Testing"... I'm not sure the context of your statement now... I guess we'll never know now... see how silly your logic is...

Where was the FBI during the San Berndino massacre, Fort Hood, NY Times Square attempted bombing, 9/11 etc etc???

Seems like the only potential terrorist they can catch, are the ones they entrap. But keep riding their nuts.
