"Deserve" is a loaded word in cases where bad choices lead to bad outcomes. This wasn't the dealth penalty, this is what can happen when you break into somebody's home.
Hmm..I don't see that word "Deserve" any where...but it is late on my side i may have missed it. Mabye you was talking about my link, lemme check....nope not a mention of some one "deserving". Literally with that logic (which is what i follow by but i am playing devils advocate) Driving to work you get what you get when s%#t goes wrong correct?
Your post included the comment, "Did this kid deserve the death penalty?" Admittedly, I probably could have bolded that sentence because your post was fairly large and I was focusing on that part. But my point was, stupid games lead to stupid prizes. But its not like I would want him executed if he got away and later arrested.
"Rushing back home to kill someone for petty theft..." So, that's the way you view this woman's circumstances? She 'rushed back home' b/c her security system alerted her that someone was in her home. Wouldn't you? When she got back home, the 50 yr old woman found herself facing a 17 yr old thug, there was a confrontation and she used her gun. You sound like it shouldn't have been such a big deal for her.... it was only 'petty thievery'...... You had tools stolen from you - no biggie, says you. "I have insurance". And that means the woman in this home invasion should have had your attitude?
I wouldn't say he deserved to die, but he didn't deserve any benefit of doubt. If it was dark and she couldn't see for sure that he was disarmed and not taking her valuables and not a threat to her, I don't have any problem with her shooting him. What if he had a gun?
Absolutely right.....these thugs are risking their lives when they break into someone's home, but to stupid to realize it.....and you can't fix stupid.
If you don't want to get shot by a homeowner, don't break into their house. What a pretty complex theory.
Trayvon's #2 life may serve a greater purpose to reminded other sons of Obama not to loot and assault others and expect to live long.
Ahhh no she wasn't. No they didn't. And you credit Obama with this because? And you do know that middle class incomes have DROPPED about $5K a year during Obama's term in office starting when the Democrats took control of the congress in 2007. Prior to that under the Republican control they rose and everyone was working. Well you are the one blaming Bush, while at the same time admitting your ignorance of his term and crediting Obama. I'm not a "you people" for Trump. The second video is the reality of our welfare system and our entitlement mentality and once again you give credit to the President. Gingrich and Kasich reformed welfare and millions go off it and into the workplace and became productive tax paying citiznes. The Democrats reversed that and now we have record numbers on welfare and receiving foot stamps and other government assistance, you know those ones in the second video. - - - Updated - - - Yes because that is not what happened is it. The thug confronted her and she shot him. If that guy takes one of those wrenches and comes at you you better have burial insurance.
In Texas I can kill them if they are stealing my property.... If they don't want to die they can put the TV down and lay on their belly... That sentiment is so shocking that it gave me a crick in my neck.. We have wetbacks to do the jobs that the ignorant hood boys sued to do. In the dark of night the woman had no way of know if Little Trayvon was armed or not so once she saw that he was stealing from her to by school books it ws her right to educate him with ventilation. I Texas, at night I can follow the punk home and kill him if he refuses to give my TV back. I must have missed the speech where 0 told these punks to not steal and loot. 0 sided with the street thug Mike the Angel who had just strong armed a store owner. We believe you...
Ok please elaborate on points 1,2, an 3 after that my post loses all momentum, but that (my perspective) is what i saw in the first video...I would Love to hear your perspective on it. As for point 6. I call straight BS...I know of such people not that they need help, but America is structured in such a way as money is above all...that if one had a chance to move, without money it is an impossibility. There unerlying problem is they cannot place money above all...such does not need to happen but it is what it is. Point 6 Yea of course more people qualify for "welfare" they went from making min wage working 6 days 50 hour a week to making $13 working 3-4 days...And what in the heck to you people call welfare? EBT, an child care assistance? No such thing as HUD anymore try 7 year waiting period just to qualify? Edit: Now I am totally off topic again... So No, I do not believe in the death penalty for petty theft, but after she rushed home for confrontation....S#$t popped off, You sitting in a jury what would you vote
And in a high crime area and after multiple burglaries guess what is going to happen to your premiums and your deductible if you can even find an insurance company to continue to insure you against losses by theft?
I think my perspective is quite clear and we see examples of that in the Sanders campaign. If you don't know what is and what is not welfare I can't help, but as the video shows there are people and they are in the millions who believe they don't have to work, the government HAS to provide for them and they are happy not working and living off the money that some other citizen got out of bed this morning at 6am and went to THEIR job and put in a hard days work only to have to turn over some of their wages to the people in the videos. Ahhh read the story, the thug did not wait to submit to an arrest to face justice in the legal system where the death penalty is apply. The woman was defending herself, was she supposed to be the one killed or something? She rushed home to protect her property which had been so routinely vandalized she had put in several security cameras. The thug cause his own demise by entering a home in the first place and then confronting the owner and threatening her.
President Obama did not say he approved of what Micheal Brown did. Maybe he just didn't think he deserved the death penalty.
If that's mom, she looks like she's calculating whether she can get Al Sharpton out there to rile up the locals and sue for millions.
Yep, Obama's America, Obama has people like him convinced they're entitled to other people's money and stuff.
Obama needs to learn the facts b/f he speaks up about a citizen's situation (as in the professor & cops when he said himself 'I don't have all the facts, but I think the cops acted stupidly'....) As everyone else knows, the fact is that Brown tried to take Officer Wilson's gun from him and the other fact is that Eric Holder's own DOJ investigated the Brown case themselves and said Officer Wilson hadn't done anything wrong...... Michael Brown brought the death penalty upon himself....
Yes, I'd say the lesson learned is that you work honestly for your goals rather than steal from others to further yourself. In this case he accelerated his life and death by bypassing old age.
1) We do not know for a fact if Micheal Brown really tried to take Officer Wilson's gun from him. The only testimony we have is from Officer Wilson since Micheal Brown is dead. 2) I do not believe everything Officer Wilson says. When he did the interview with George Stepanopolaus he said he told Micheal Brown and his friend to get out of the street in a "nice" way. In reality he told them, "Get the f**k out of the street". That doesn't sound so nice to me. 3) The only visible "injury" he had was redness to his cheeks after being "hit" by Micheal Brown, who was 6'5" and weighed almost 300 lbs. I'm sorry. I'm not buying that. He would have been hurt worse than that if he had been attacked by a guy that big. So, I don't think Micheal Brown bought the death penalty on himself. I think Officer Wilson was angry because these young Black men were not jumping to his commands and he made some mistakes that resulted in the death of one of the young men.
Why is it that every time a story comes up about a young Black man committing a crime the names of Treyvon Martin, Micheal Brown and also President Obama are mentioned? If I see a young White guy commit a crime I don't try to compare him to another White guy. Or to a White President.
