On my second thought, there is some difference.

Kim, Il Sung is saying "we are not hungry even now, but we will live better.".

This is identical to my observation that North Koreans, no matter what condition they are in, they always live better than people in US and South Korea.

As for the unsure readers, it's a comedy sketch showing just how ridiculous any sort of alert, no matter the color, if the only people who know about it are in a closed room and already on alert.

 

Sounds like US system of alert. Only folks who are in alert are these important people in the military and the government, while people are dancing and praying, whatever. And when people get wacked, the military and the government only blame the attacker.

This is actually what happened in Korea too. Syngman Lee kept on attacking North Korea, with media in control, Koreans in South never knew what was going on. Koreans in South didnt even know 30,000 people were massacred in Jeju island. Then when North Korean military marched in Seoul, they all thought North Korea started the war.

You guys should think really hard here. If our government wants to protect US, they should at least alert US in case of any danger, rather than make it in secretive. Actually we should demand for such system.

If by chance North Korea ever becomes an actual threat you will be warned, though not with an alert system. Your warning will come in the form of news reports explain the destruction of NK and the elimination of the threat you had no Idea existed beforehand. Little Kimmy poses no real threat and periodically spew crap to make his people fear and praise him rather than think long enough to realize where they live.

It's a danger no one could do anything about except cause a panic. I would not be surprised to find the US actual nuclear alert status to be classified.
