What is your evidence for that?

If race realism were accurate there are enough notable exceptions to make any policies based on it a 2aste of time and unethical.

    How about mass immigration policy?

The virtual absence of the theory being taught in an academic setting plus its lack of currency in the Scientific Community among distinguished scholars indicates that Race-Realism is a fringe theory.

Race-Realism is better known as Scientific Racism and is generally regarded to have been thoroughly discredited in the 20th Century.

You should also consider that most of the world does not tolerate racism. Racism as a politically relevant ideology is a thing of the past.

It's clearly been suppressed in the academy due to the Jewish Boasian monopoly of American Anthropology. In spite of this you have no evidence scholars don't support the concept. Why do you constantly speak about "most people" thinking this or that as if you have some kind of clear defintion and data on the issue, when you don't?

The USA already has very selective migration. For example Asian migration is typically extremely selective. Only the creme of the crop come over here

But you can see how group difference estimates can influence policy? For example the Jewish Boasian "no differences" theory would support mass immigration from the third world.

Immigration is a wonderful thing if done right. Now I'm pretty sure you think I'm some sort of egalitarian, but I'm not. I do not believe in equality at all. I do think there is a benefit in diversity and immigration. But I believe in diversity in that there should be freedom of association. And I think there are a lot of benefits to immigration. For example in the tech industry. We really don't have a lot of natively born Americans who are qualified for the jobs, so having a lot of immigration from countries where technical education is valued is great. And I think the diversity it brings to the workforce has made the tech industry so innovative in the first place. It also help business, art, and entertainment in merging may different types of cultures together. Fusion restaurants are the best. So I think when you mix things like diversity with capitalism it's great.

The main problem is when you start to have immigration and multiculturalism. Diversity and multiculturalism are very different things, and I think people often get the two mixed up. Multiculturalism is what you describe. People from other places that try to influence public policy. I feel if people immigrate they should have shared values to some degree. In America it is a free country in terms of religion. But if someone comes and is Muslim and believes in a theocracy, then that's a bad thing. In a multicultural society, what would happen is that you have many groups trying to influence public policy. And this is pretty much a bad thing, as we have seen. I am a big fan of SELECTIVE immigration, as we've seen with people from Africa and Asia. I think selective immigration kind of stops the ability for people to try to have fringes from other country try to rise to power and change the overall culture. As we're seeing in Europe

A lot of Asian (South and East) tech workers are employed because they are cheaper. Low creativity Asians tend to study hard to learn White innovations and repeat. Pushing Whites out of jobs will harm the innovation of White nations, innovations which benefit the world. "Cream of the crop" Asians will tend to revert to the lower levels in successive generations, and even the cream tend to be study hard, innovate little types. "Restaurants" seems to be the only argument of "diversity" advocates, and it's a lame one. White people can make curry! I oppose both racial diversity and multi culturalism in White nations. You seem to make no sense, supporting multiculturalism at one point "It also help business, art, and entertainment in merging may different types of cultures together", and opposing it at others "Multiculturalism is what you describe. People from other places that try to influence public policy.". I have no interest in adopting non-European/American culture. It's about 98% inferior.

I don't think the OP was making that argument. In fact, nobody was.

What? In post #16 I said that I found Race & IQ arguments to be morally absurd and would not accept any policy recommendations based on these arguments even if the theory of the advocates was correct. Then you asked me what policy recommendations I was talking about so I told you what racists recommend. I never suggested that the OP made such policy recommendations. The topic of the thread is why Race & IQ studies are useless. My point is that I combat racism by debunking these scientific myths that racists propose. But even if they were right the policies they recommend are morally absurd.

Correction then. No one but you was making those arguments.

Although the OP titled this, why race and IQ studies are useless, he really didn't discuss race as a factor. His critique was on IQ tests ( a point I disagreed with him on) but you're one of those race obsessives. In fact, that's the only reason you are in this thread.

You're in the race-relations forum talking about race obsession. Why?

What you call "combating racism" has done more to advance it than anything else. In the past, I was vaguely aware of racial differences but didn't spend too much time thinking about it; now, I know a hell of a lot about the topic and consider it far more important than I did before--the same is true for many of my white friends. After being told blatantly false things about race, listening to absurd charges of "racism" on a daily basis, and being called a racist for making basic observations, I have now become far more ethnocentric and race conscious.

When you lie about something and insult someone for believing it, they end up doubling down and looking for evidence to back up their assertions (what do you think is going to happen if they were correct?). Now, the population is waking up to the issue of race in a way they haven't in many years. If the left had kept its mouth shut, things may have died down a little bit; instead, guys like you spend all of your time denying what is obvious, denying the right of white nations to exist and, frankly, pissing people off. You have done more to encourage racism than anyone on this forum, by far.

The left's obsession with race and attacking white people for being so awful (lies) have pissed many of us off (me, nor anyone I know have ever done anything wrong), and we are now accumulating evidence to combat the nonsense and convincing others who are on the fence that races are real. I have probably convinced upwards of a dozen people that races are real and that it has consequences. Without folks like you, I never would have had the desire or receptive market to pursue it.

So you're blaming people like me for your racism. That's original.

Racism has been defeated on a political and social level. The only voice that far-right, racist lunatics have is on the internet where no one pays attention to them besides interested onlookers such as me. Honestly I shouldn't give racism much attention. You people have been beaten. What is the point any more? Your racist ideas have no impact on my life. You should make a thread sharing your knowledge of racial differences. I would like to see what sort of "facts" you have discovered that I haven't already addressed.

Your denial of racial differences is delusional, and you haven't addressed anything. The amount of evidence for racial differences is overwhelming and, at least secretly, acknowledged by most real scientists outside the liberal arts--us realists know how to spot each other ;-). Unfortunately, much like a religious nut, there is nothing that can be done to help you. In fact, I've found leftoidian ideology to be even more stubborn and difficult to remove than religion.

You haven't removed racism, you've driven it underground and attempted to use the other races against white people. The white people who are worth caring about are becoming more racist than ever, thank Zeus.

    When Progressives Get Religion

Columbia University linguist John McWhorter penned an essay last year which he defended on CNN:

In 2015, among educated Americans especially, Antiracism—it seriously merits capitalization at this point—is now what any naïve, unbiased anthropologist would describe as a new and increasingly dominant religion. It is what we worship, as sincerely and fervently as many worship God and Jesus and, among most Blue State Americans, more so.

    Far-fetched?

For those who insist that religion must include a divine being, not so fast. Communism scholar Peter Sperlich:

Supernaturalism and specific deities are common, but not essential elements of religious systems. ... Several indisputably “traditional religions” have managed to function perfectly well without specific deities; for example, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Jainism.

... If the chief characteristic of a religion is the belief in the reality of an unseen, it matters not whether this unobservable entity is a specific deity, the “spirit of history,” or the “laws of nature.” (1)

But psychology tells us that the conservative is far more apt to traditional religious belief than the progressive. So is McWhorter just blowing smoke?

As it happens, he is not the first to test the waters of leftist ideology-cum-religion. The 20th century's greatest progressive idea, Communism, has been intriguing scholars for the last 100 years for its likeness to spiritual belief. The millions of pages written on the subject have taught us this if nothing else: The leftist, in his own way, seems just as prone to religious thinking as the rightist.

So to test McWhorter's assertion, let us take a deeper look at how the progressive has succumbed to the religious aspects of both Communism and Multiculturalism. Are there any real parallels? And what can this tell us about the pitfalls to which the leftist mind is vulnerable?

Scientific Racism is a pseudoscience. The one who is delusional is you and these "secret" scientists who agree with you are not worth mentioning because they are not influencing academia.

This is why racism, unfortunately, can never be completely removed.

Racism is taught to children at an early age so racism will continue to exist across generations. However it is decreasing significantly. One of the best examples of this is the trend in social attitudes on interracial relationships.

White American disapproval of interracial marriage has decreased rapidly over recent generations.

Interracial marriages have also increased in recent years.

As far as "white people who are worth caring about" is concerned statistics show that less educated and more conservative Whites tend to be more racist.

So if those are the people you value....well ok.

The fact is that White Americans have become less racist over recent years. I expect this trend to continue.

I already said some do, but you're spinning that into a majority. Using a few posts from 2 websites is a hasty generalization fallacy.

Cool, so you support white masses moving into Africa for profit regardless of the desires of the local population.

I never said the majority believe this and clearly said it represents the most extreme views. However based on Google Searches and reading comments it's clearly common. More common than you'd like to admit.

I have no problem with anyone immigrating anywhere.

Jeez...That picture is disgusting. If there is anything genetically inferior about white people it is in their ability to get lost in abstract nonsense (probably related to creativity) and a tendency toward pathological empathy.

The acknowledgement of racial differences cannot be removed from society because we can't remove peoples' brains.

The average IQ of East Asians is 106, and they are some of the most racist people in the world.

Anti-racism is a political/religious movement that is perpetuated by universities. Obviously, those who spend 8 years being brainwashed will come out brainwashed.

Racial differences are becoming obvious as time goes on. Blacks will continue to accomplish little and eventually people will realize that the reason is genetic, not cultural or environmental.

The Chinese should do it (they already are). Check out this article from one of the greatest race-realists of all time: http://galton.org/letters/africa-for-chinese/AfricaForTheChinese.htm
