Please provide a citation..........your assertions do not count as proof

    BTW

And for the sake of argument even if he did...............So what? Are you implying something amiss here..........possible wrongdoing........what is it you are not saying but want readers to assume?

    Yes i would
Because mostly those extra troops are not used to stop genocide
They are used to invade iraq, or similar mischief

Btw, so often i read reverential reference to the founders intent

Was it the founders intent to have a very large standing army and play policeman to the world?

I could easily turn that around (big govt statist lefties should love the military and police), but I don't even need to go there.

The military and police-are legitimate functions of govt, redistributing wealth and your feel good pet social programs are not.

Lots of fact free statements he made but the real story of the ME is not always clear. There is a lot of lying.

The Middle East is FUBAR and the US makes it worse. Ron Paul was right as was Obama about the invasion there. Iraq was better of with Saddam who we could have assassinated like we or our allies did to Chavez and Kim Il Jung.

It's going to get worse there now that oil is becoming obsolete.

You are being very very dishonest.

War is a business. We can do more with less.

    Stop the treasonous dishonesty.

Killing leaders doesn't work in the Middle East. There is always someone to replace them that came up through the same society that formed the first one.

Nobody gets more welfare than do the wealthy elites, especially those of the military industrial complex.

As for police, you as a right winger should be the first one to defend Black Lives Matter and the Black Panthers.

Why would I defend BLM and Black Panthers? They are thug criminals-the militant arm of the Democrat party.

I assume those are profit figures. If they are they are utterly meaningless. Do you have any evidence they are represent excessive profits? If they are only making 5% over costs then it can hardly be called profiteering.

I personally believe in the corruption of the military industrial complex because they overcharge for government contracts and are part of the reason why are military wastes so much money. but the numbers supplied by that person above are just totally misrepresentitive. after taxes Lockheed Martin bring in a net income of 3.6 billion annually http://www.marketwatch.com/investing/stock/lmt/financials

But if you watch a documentary on SOFEX it's pretty evident that something is definitely wrong with the way American arms manufacturers sell their products.

But you have to admit the military has a problem with over spending and really needs to be regulated, if you don't like raising taxes than the only option is to bring the DOD budget under control.

In any large organization there is a natural level of waste.

In my opinion the U.S. military budget based on what the military is currently being required to do and based on existing U.S. commitments abroad is at least 150-200 billion too small.

yes but once it hits the trillion mark that's not waste, it's just incompetence... when you need 200 billion dollars to meet your opinionated minimum budget, investing more than quadruple that number into a fighter jet is just silly and even John McCain recognizes that. As I previously stated if you are constantly searching for more funding the first place to start is taking a second look at your own departments current spending levels.

200 billion more would boost the defense budget to something like 750 billion dollars. Well, well short of one trillion dollars.

Unless you're one of those idiots who adds the Veterans Admin. budget into military spending.

Of course. Even if the defense budget was cut to only 300 billion a year as clowns like Vegas Giant suggest the U.S. would still spend 3 trillion dollars on defense over the course of a decade.

And the defense budget is more likely to go up rather than down. Especially when the next major war kicks off which is due in just a few years. And that I want the U.S. to be overprepared for.

I can tell you this....the people of the United States are LUCKY we have such a great company as Lockheed Martin.

I personally am aware of Lockheed Martin spending HUGE amounts of their own money to do research just to look for other ways to make great aircraft.

Some times they will spend millions of dollars just to make sure their aircraft is the best unlike other companies that will deliver aircraft and then later fix problems.

The Boy's at Skunk Werks are the BEST!!

I'm not the one making the claim. I'm not obligated to search for anything.
