There is no denying that the nation has come a long way from the economic in which the previous regime left America.

We're certainly not in Kansas anymore!

Shhhhh! you're going to make Republicans heads explode :steamed:, Job growth is good news and if it's good news, Barack Obama can't possibly be given any credit for this. All I gotta say is, I bet Barack Obama wishes he inherited an America that's in the Economic shape it is in today compared to what it was in February 2009 after GW Bush and Cheney destroyed it.

I'm comparing America's economy today, compared to the way your Republican buddies left it for Barack Obama to try and fix in 2009. Add to that Republicans in Congress that were determined to do EVERYTHING they could to slow the economic recovery to make him a One term President and it's amazing that Barack Obama accomplished anything at all

You do realize that the majority of States have been under Republican control since Obama has been President?

And the National job creation is attributed to the individual state policies.

And since the National job creation is attributed to the individual state policies, then the credit must go to the Republicans for pulling us out of this mess.

Oh, and the 16 to 24 year olds need to start contributing their fair share into this left-wing socialist liberal society utopia that they so lovingly want...

This isn't just attributable to President Obama. If you look up the data for the last 40 years, Democratic Presidents and Democratic policies are overwhelmingly better for the economy and the job market. Its just a fact.

Every time a republican takes office...the economy tanks (that's why the market drops when republicans get elected) and the job market tanks.

How many jobs did GWB lose again?

But we should all know by now: If the job market is failing, it's not Obama's fault. If the job market is doing great, it's all Obama's doing!

Your novel, hyper-partisan spin can't save Bad Neighbor Sam's self-proclaimed Red State Model, unfortunately.

Sorry. You made up yourt "Blue State Model". Governor Brown made no such ideological boast by proclaiming such a paradigm - as had Governor Brownback, now rated by Kansans the worst in the nation that is, in sharp contrast, doing well.

You know what Obama did? he killed the concept of a full time job with Obamacare... Now companies are hiring PART TIME WORKERS - or to put in in a remedial way that a progressive could understand - companies are hiring 2 people to do what 1 full time employee could do...

Why? because under Obamacare companies have to provide healthcare to full time employees - not part time employees..

So yeah, there are more jobs because full time jobs are being eliminated left and right.

    Do the math.

Chronic, hyper-partisan snivelers still bellywhinge about the extent to which the US economy has recovered from the dismal state to which eight years of Republican rule had consigned it.

More than half of Americans now consistently approve of the President's performance. Compare that to the Bush who had sunk as low as 26%approval/67% disapproval at this point of his tenure.

The alienated malcontents need to come to grips with America.

Should organized labor be pushing for higher wages? Definitely. However, let's honestly acknowledge the significant progress that has been achieved.

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics LIES! (sorry to tell you this....shocking I know for the Obama led federal government).
http://www.gallup.com/opinion/chairman/181469/big-lie-unemployment.aspx It makes a habit of making dubious and self serving pronouncements.
ICE lies by padding their numbers to make it seem like our border is better regulated than it is.
The FBI lies to make it seem like exposing the classified information of our State Department to hostile foreign agents is really no big deal.
The IRS lies in order to monitor and impede the political foes, Tea Party, of Barry Obama.
The Obama Military lies when it claimed no military assets could have made it to Benghazi in time
to save the people pinned down in a seven plus hour fire fight. They also famously lied about the threat of ISIS, calling them merely a "J.V. team".
Our national intelligence director lies to Congress when he told them the Obama regime did not willingly collect information
    on millions of Americans

But please, sorry I interrupted your story. What were you saying about the US Bureau of Labor Statistics again?

Once again, the wise old axiom takes center stage. "Correlation does not imply causation" Job growth just happen to happen when Obama became a lame duck president. There is absolutely no evidence that even suggests that Obama and his administration, were responsible. Fact is, it is foolish to suggest any US president can wield such power in the US economy as to affect job growth. Biased party zealots want to give you that impression but it's pure nonsense.

However, for the sake of argument, let's assume he was responsible. What kind of jobs were created? Are we talking minimum wage, short term, temporary, part-time employment with no benefits? That would mean our president is helping keep people poor with employment that cannot put people in an above poverty level. That sounds more like Obama.

This economy is still pretty (*)(*)(*)(*)ty. Wages aren't keeping up with inflation and the labor force participation rate is at an all time low. I wouldn't be shocked if most of those jobs reportedly added yesterday are low pay seasonal jobs.

We've had 1 MILLION people drop out of the labor force in the past two months.

    But... job growth!(?)

Don't expect any useful insights from committed partisan propagandists. They spew out fiction in order to support a failed
presidency. They are Baghdad Bobs with keyboards and they will insist on lies and things sensible people know not to be true.

    You're right on, Pax.

I wish others would recognize it, and understand it.

I made a short statement on this in post #10.

Job growth reported by the Obama admin is mainly a lie. Tell me about the millions that are not employed because they stopped looking. The so called job growth is mainly in low paying entry level jobs.

It is good for stock traders with enough information to time the market swings. For the idled it is a human catastrophe.
