This is almost like the dead Syrian child on the beach from last year. At least this child is alive. Will he also become a symbol of war?

Surrounded by shouting, he's completely silent.

The child is small, alone, covered in blood and dust, dropped in the back of an ambulance with his feet dangling off the edge of a too-big chair.

He doesn't cry or speak. His face is stunned and dazed, but not surprised. He wipes his hand over his wounded face, looks at the blood, wipes it off on the chair.

    And he stares.

    The world is staring back.

The past several years have seen a flood of horrific photos from the war in Syria: starving children, wounded civilians, mourning crowds, devastated cities, the many dead.

But this tiny moment in Aleppo has resonated in a new way.

A Turkish paramilitary police officer carries the body of 3-year-old Aylan Kurdi, found washed ashore near the Turkish resort of Bodrum early Wednesday. The boats carrying the boy's family to the Greek island of Kos capsized. His 5-year-old brother and mother also lost their lives.

    THE TWO-WAY
Image Of Dead Syrian Child Shakes Up Media Coverage Of Refugee Crisis
Last year, the photograph of Aylan Kurdi, the Syrian 3-year-old who drowned and washed ashore in Turkey, intensified Europe's conversations about the refugee crisis and moral responsibility. Now the image of the boy in the ambulance is bringing new attention to the ongoing agonies of the Syrian conflict.

The video was released by the Aleppo Media Center, an anti-government activist group in Syria, The Associated Press reports. It adds:

"A doctor in Aleppo on Thursday identified the boy as 5-year-old Omran Daqneesh. Osama Abu al-Ezz confirmed he was brought to the hospital known as 'M10' Wednesday night following an airstrike on the rebel-held neighborhood of Qaterji. ...
"Rescue workers and journalists arrived at Qaterji shortly after the strike and began pulling victims from the rubble.
" 'We were passing them from one balcony to the other,' said photojournalist Mahmoud Raslan, who took the iconic photo. He said he had passed along three lifeless bodies before receiving the wounded boy.
"A doctor at M10 later reported eight dead, among them five children."
Medical facilities in Syria are routinely hit by government forces. As a result, hospitals have been pushed underground and use code names, such as "M10."

He's OBVIOUSLY a terrorist who wouldn't be allowed in the US under our Glorious Leader Trump's "extreme vetting."

Thanks Obama, and your desire for regime change and supporting terrorists in Syria! No doubt there are thousands of children just like this we can lay at Obama's feet, thanks for the media pointing it out as well...

So were you. Are you a terrorist? Given his life experience, what are the odds you might grow up to be one?

Russian backed helicopter gunships from Assad did this, Not Obama.

Depends on if Obama's terrorists win the war or not, doesn't it? If ISIS and pals win, there is a high probability he will become a terrorist, far more so than if Obama and pals did not ever support terrorists in Syria. If Russia and Assad win there is a far greater chance this kid won't be a terrorist, as Assad and Russia are fighting against terrorists. Odd how that works and how Obama is on the wrong side of history and this war...

The Russians were attacking Obama's terrorists, that sort of is the whole problem here. Legitimate governments are fighting terrorist scum, and losers like Obama are backing terrorists and making this war last longer for their demented egos than what's morally and intellectually correct...

'Scared and Dazed': Surgeon Describes Treating Boy Who Became Face of Aleppo's Suffering
LENA MASRI,ABC News 18 hours ago Comments Sign in to like Reblog on Tumblr Share Tweet Email

The 5-year-old boy from Aleppo couldn’t remember what happened.

He was covered in dust and bleeding from the head but didn’t know exactly why, according to the doctor who treated him.

The boy’s name is Omran Daqneesh, and his photo has been shared thousands of times on social media.

“Omran was scared and dazed at the same time. He wasn’t crying at all. It seemed like he had been asleep when it happened,” Mohammad, a surgeon in Aleppo who treated Omran, told ABC News.

Omran was rescued from a destroyed building in the besieged city's Qaterji neighborhood after an airstrike. Mohammad, who asked ABC News not to publish his last name out of safety concerns, said Omran arrived at the hospital at around 9:15 p.m. local time Wednesday.

“He was very lucky. He only had a simple wound in the scalp. We cleaned and stitched the wound and cleaned his face and clothes. There was no brain damage, and he was discharged after two hours,” Mohammad said.

Abo Rajab, a nurse who treated Omran, told ABC News that “Omran looked very, very shocked and frightened. In the beginning, he didn’t speak at all. But after his treatment, he started crying and yelling, “father, mother.'"

He continued, “His parents were very, very affected and scared for their son and crying. But we comforted them and told them that the wound was superficial. But he wasn’t speaking so it seemed like his condition was very serious. It seemed like he was unconscious and like the wound had affected his brain. But it turned out that he was fine."

Eight residents from Omran’s neighborhood were sent for treatment at the hospital, including four other children, according to doctor Mohammad. At another hospital, one child, a woman and an elderly man died from the attack, he said.

“Many children are killed in this war when residential neighborhoods are attacked and they are at home or playing in the street,” he said, adding that 12 children under the age of 15 were injured after attacks on the city Wednesday.

“There are hundreds and thousands of stories like Omran’s,” he continued. “Omran was lucky. Other children are dead or paralyzed, and their stories didn’t reach the world.”

Mohammad said that repeated attacks on hospitals and lack of specialist doctors are some of the problems health workers face. He said he is one of only 15 surgeons left in Aleppo and that his hospital has been targeted more than 10 times.

Three to six wounded children arrive at the hospital every day, he noted.

“Today there was an attack in another neighborhood in Aleppo. Around 10 died, and 40 were wounded. One child died of a head injury after losing too much blood,” he said. “As doctors, our hearts are full of compassion when we see wounded children. Children are innocent and should be far away from everything related to war.”

The ongoing conflict in Syria has caused the largest humanitarian crisis since World War II, with more than 8 million children in danger, according to UNICEF.

A Syrian boy has died from wounds from the airstrike that turned his younger brother, Omran Daqneesh, into an internationally known symbol of the devastation in the war-ravaged city of Aleppo.

Ali Daqneesh died Saturday from the injuries he sustained in the blast that hit the family's apartment in their Qaterji neighborhood Wednesday, the group said. He was 10 years old, according to the Aleppo Media Center.

    No other details were provided.

The haunting photos of 5-year-old Omran were released by Syrian opposition activists earlier this week. In them, a dust-caked, bloodied Omran sits in an orange chair in an ambulance, his legs too short to reach the floor. Omran appears shell-shocked and weary.

A doctor who identified him in the photos said Omran was brought to the hospital with head wounds, but didn't suffer any brain injuries, and was later discharged.

Photojournalist Mahmoud Raslan took the picture and told the Associated Press that rescue personnel and journalists who arrived at the rebel-held district after the strike had pulled three bodies from the debris before they reached Omran.

Omran was plucked from the rubble along with Ali and their two other siblings and mother and father. The heartbreaking images of him triggered memories of another young Syrian boy, Aylan Kurdi, who drowned on a beach in Turkey as his family tried to escape Syria's civil war.

Newspapers and media sites around the world published the picture of Aylan's father carrying his lifeless body along the beach as a symbol of Europe's refugee crisis.

Radical Muslim indoctrination starts pretty much at birth.

He's grown up knowing nothing but conflict and has probably already been programmed to believe that fighting the infidel is his sole function in life.

He watches all the older males around him and he sees how they treat women, how they treat those oh so easily rape-able little girls, how they treat gays, how they treat animals, and how they treat anybody who isn't one of them.

Now you want him to come here but you don't want him to change or adapt one bit.

When he lands you'll shower him with freebies, praise his "accomplishments", tell him that his culture is oh so special and precious and that he shouldn't change and that anyone who doesn't like it is a RACCCIIISSSTTTT!!!

He and the millions like him will grow up fully funded by the West in a state of absolute contempt and objection to the culture of their host country committing regular acts of violence that you Democrats will ignore and use SJW human shielding to protect.

To Democrats this is just yet another special interest minority group for them to take ownership of, fund, and then completely ignore all the huge negative characteristics of just as with Blakcs and Hispanics.

I hope Democrats can live with the body count.

Oh what am I saying of course they can, they are the absolute masters of denial.

Sunday 21st August, 2016: The older brother of the little Syrian boy who was pictured sitting in an ambulance dazed and covered in blood after an air strike, died Saturday (Aug 20) from wounds sustained in the attack on the family's apartment, a monitoring group said.

AP EXPLAINS: Why Aleppo is Syria's fiercest battleground
Aug 21,`16 With rebels and government forces each promising to unite the divided city, Aleppo is once again a main battlefield in Syria's devastating civil war. Relentless shelling and airstrikes have killed more than 300 civilians in the city since rebels broke through a government blockade of the opposition-held east on July 31. A photo of five-year-old Omran Daqneesh, who was rescued from the rubble of a missile-struck building, sitting alone in an ambulance, confused and covered in debris and blood, has become the haunting image of the unforgiving struggle.

It's heartbreaking to see that childÂ… stunned, injured, and confused. It gives a different face to war. What's even worse, is to think that he is just one of thousands of children that have faced that very same thing. We're mostly insulated from that kind of thing. Our children don't have those kinds of experiences. No child should.

Yes I know a handful of Asia region Muslims well enough to have the topic of religion come up.

And they have an extreme hatred of Middle Eastern Muslims for the exact reason why everybody else either already does or damn well should.

Oh yeah.. Naturally they would hate Arab Muslims. Poverty and lack of education are an issue for Malaysian Muslims.
