The Left are more interested in the tight ends; whereas, the RWers are more interested in the cheerleaders...[IMG]

More power to 'em... You should've known that in today's day and age there would be people dumb enough to support what he's doing. Another player could come along tomorrow and protest white NFL owners and the same thing would happen.

HA!!! Are you kidding me??? Tweeting "OMG" after a gay gets drafted will land you in diversity class while you serve your suspension... Sitting during the National Anthem will drive your jersey sales up... Did you seriously think he'd get in trouble for what he did? This is the NFL we're talking about.

I believe that the free enterprise and the free market works best, but I don't think that taxpayers should be building stadiums for multimillionaire owners who can then afford to pay ridiculous salaries to players.

Thought I agree he's a racist piece of trash and he is trying to get his last shot at still being famous...your racism isn't any better

Maybe you're right. Let's see if it improves his horrible play style tho

Did you get that from your end of the world preacher?
You are only interested in cheerleaders because you really don't understand the concept of football, I guessing.

    - - - Updated - - -

No, it's the fans we are talking about.
They are the one's buying the jerseys. WoW.

You know jersey sales reflects a players popularity, right?
And a backup QB is tops in sales. I'd guess not for his football skills, but for his stance on treatment of certain group(s) of people.

I seriously doubt anyone was forced to diversity classes for typing OMG. You must watch fox or something.

I guess it shows there is more to the issue than what we've seen in the media. People are genuinely concerned how treatment of people take place.

This is true, every time Tim tebow switched teams the New Jersey went up in sales immediately. Tim being a sub par player, the only reason his jersey sales went up is do to out spoken religious background. He had fans that didn't care about football buying up his every jersey

They should be fined for unsportsmanlike conduct if THE TEAM was booing.

Right... There are more liberals that are stupid enough to think what he did was right, than there are fans of any one football team. You probably didn't think about that one.

As far as the OMG tweet, there was also a fine involved.

It also goes to show that if what you say is true, then no effort has been made under this democratic rule to fix it.

On the heels of a totally ridiculous post that I responded to. From left field as you say.

See, I knew it. It wasn't just OMG. He made a denigrating comment along with it.

Colin Kaepernick: False rumors of conversion tied to Islamophobia
Josh Peter, USA TODAY Sports 9:27 p.m. EDT September 7, 2016

Goodell finally commented on Kaepernick's protest to not stand during the national anthem, while Kaepernick spoke to reporters on Wednesday and said he appreciated President Obama's support. USA TODAY SPORTS

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Colin Kaepernick knocked down rumors that he has converted to Islam and that his girlfriend, who is Muslim, led him to protest social injustices by refusing to stand for the national anthem. He tweaked presidential candidate Donald Trump in the process.

“I have great respect for the religion, know a lot of people that are Muslim and are phenomenal people,’’ Kaepernick, the San Francisco 49ers' backup quarterback, said Wednesday. “But I think that (rumor of conversion) comes along with people’s fear of this protest, as well as Islamophobia in this country. People are terrified of them to the point where Trump wants to ban all Muslims from coming here, which is ridiculous.”

Kaepernick also addressed reports that he’s been heavily influenced by girlfriend Nessa Diab, a radio host.

“The impact is just conversations that we constantly have,’’ he said. “This is an open discussion that I have with many people, not just my woman. She is Muslim, her family is Muslim, I have great respect for them. I have great respect for people’s right to believe what they want to believe. And I don’t think anybody should be prosecuted for judged based on what their beliefs all.’’

Kaepernick suggested oppression is deterring some NFL players from speaking out in support of his decision to protest.

“I think there are a lot of players that feel the same way,’’ Kaepernick said Wednesday. “They’re just nervous about consequences that come with it and a lot of them have families to feed, and I think that’s a tragic situation where players aren’t comfortable speaking what’s really on their mind and what’s right because they’re afraid of consequences that come along with it.

“That’s not an ideal for anybody and I think it also speaks to the oppression and culture that we have here where if you don’t fall in line then we’re going to get you out.’’

Last Thursday, 49ers safety Eric Reid joined Kaepernick in kneeling during the national anthem before the 49ers game against the San Diego Chargers. Jeremy Lane, a defensive back with the Seattle Seahawks, sat during the anthem before the Seahawks' game against the Oakland Raiders.

The 49ers play the Los Angeles Rams on Monday, Sept. 12, but Kaepernick said he would had had no qualms kneeling during the national anthem had San Francisco been scheduled to play Sunday, the 15-year anniversary of 9/11.

“Once again, this isn’t a protest against men and women of the military,'' Kaepernick said Wednesday, noting he has talked about his protest with former Green Beret Nate Boyer and Sgt. Johnny "Joey" Jones, a retired military bomb technician who lost both of his legs while serving in Afghanistan. "I have great respect with them.’’

Kaepernick added, "People are getting lost in what the true message is and don’t want to address what is really is and address the issues, and that’s really the problem. I wish people would as outraged about the murders that are happening in the street as they are the protest.’’

All I know is that Kaepernick has promised to donate the first million dollars of his salary to help. That means that he will have earned the million after the second game. I will be looking forward to hearing of his donation.

You have to make something known before it can be fixed.
Are you suggesting the gov't should put more laws into place? What kind?

I'm not a racist but if you want to think so thats ok with me. I'm so fed up with walking around on eggshells trying not to offend all the precious minorities that I'm honestly just sick and (*)(*)(*)(*)ing tired of all of it. Minorities can just grow up and quit being such a bunch of whiners that cry about everything.
