What kind of test is that ?

I know there are different IQ test that Mensa recognizes. They aren't all the same.

I think it is silly to make a claim followed by "and you know it". I would love to see Trump's I.Q. score and if it is very high I will respect that, but what I do not respect are unsubstantiated claims. Has Trump made public his I.Q. score and if so is the source credible?

Jeez, losing an election in a landslide to a dude with tiny penis syndrome, the Americans must think that liberalism is a mental disease and the Dems are a bunch of corrupt, criminal scumbags. Right? :D

Could be but his use of the English language is challenged especially when it comes to spelling. Then again this is common. Men are more inclined toward math and science. I always got my lowest scores in English

I have a 99th percentile IQ, and I'm not in Mensa either. Lots of people who are interested in the wider scope of humanity and society aren't, because Mensa tends to attract IQ without balance of perception. I was invited and went to a meeting- and the guest speaker was a practicing witch. I thought this might be a novel curiosity, until I found it was a second performance for the witch. I listened to people's discussions and found many very disconnected from world realities. That wasn't me, so I left.

While I can agree with the ego statement, that is hardly the big picture- just a facet that he would be wise to rein in when in public. Intelligence often gives some huge areas of advantage, while often leaving other areas very weak. Personal skills with people is one such area; you find it hard to understand why ordinary people do not understand things in the way you do, and this means that it can be hard to realize when you have stepped over the line as they see it- and get you a lot of criticism. I think this is a factor with Trump, and I also believe that Trump is so focused on accomplishing his goals, that he doesn't let that stand in the way or dictate his actions. It's offensive to many people, but in this case I think it is a social skill deficit, not an intelligence or performance deficit. The man is very competent at what he does, and he is going to perform and accomplish- it is how he is made and what he demands of himself above all else, and the dis-approval of his social style by others will not alter that. Unlike most people, Donald Trump's self image does not depend on the approval of others. While I wish his social manners were far better- this characteristic is a major factor in the man's determination, his focus and his strength. We've had "nice" presidents for a long time- professional politicians playing to both sides, making duplicitous promises and compromising everything they did. Now we have one who is not necessarily "nice", who thinks compromise is selling out yourself and your beliefs. I wish our members of congress had that quality, and could remember what their job really is.

Wow, I had to dust off a psych report that brought back mixed memories, many of them tough.

I don't know if Mensa would accept an IQ test of an 11 year old boy with the maturity level of a 7 year old. These tests were taken because of the way he struggled with certain things and everyone needed to know why, and when I say struggled, I mean struggled. These tests were just part of a multi year, multi hundreds of thousands of dollars in tests we paid for (and went broke over)as to figure out what was going on in his head. Here you go and see if any of the below makes sense to you, from page 36 of a massive report, the last paragraph seems to indicate the test your interested in was called a KABC-ll test, whatever that is. Many of the tests listed were conducted by shrinks other than the one who wrote this report.

It's a shame his ability went to waste, the schools couldn't deal with his neurological disability, his mind became numb and he refused to try to advance himself beyond whatever came easy to him. Once people started telling him how smart he was that planted the thought that he no longer had to work at being smart so he stopped trying. Big mistake on everyone's part.

From what I understand President-Elect Trump scored very high on his college entry exams in order to get into Wharton. What difference does it make? He is going to be the president, he is going to act brash and outlandish, but I truly believe there is a method to his madness. He is always a step ahead of his public perception and more importantly, the extremely biased media coverage.

Obama went to an elite private school in Hawaii and was a notorious drug user. He was also mentored by successions of radical nation-hating leftists and then from college on he was affirmative actioned through everything, right on into the presidency . . . and . . . it . . . showed.

In some aspects, now that the shoe is on the other foot, i'm looking forward over the next 4 years to bashing the incoming Messiah every time he lies, boasts about all his money, his foul ups and every one of his tweeting gaffes. While the country is going to pay the price (they put him in office, not me) I'm going to relish each opportunity afforded me. It's going to be fun. Let's see how things go during the Honeymoon period. :)

Is your position so absolutely indefensible that all you can do is attack Obama? I didn't mention Obama. Obama's IQ is of no consequence in this thread. He's gone. It's the lying abomination of a human being who will soon be "the leader of the free world". Gag...........
Please, if you can't comprehend a post, don't waste everybody's time going off on some unrelated binge. Post your own thread.

Again, another moron who obviously can't read. Did you see any mention of Hillary in this post? It was all about the abomination of a human being you seem to admire so much, not Hillary OR Obama. Yep, way to stay on target.
By the way, how come your "Einstein" couldn't even run a casino (even with daddy's illegal millions flowing in) without going bankrupt? In case you didn't know it, the odds favor the house at a casino and only a true retard could fail to run one and at the very least, break even. duh.

Can you honestly imagine a world in which Donald J Trump WOULDN'T be in Mensa if he could be? Come on now. A little reality check here.

With a 117 IQ he's no dummy, far from it.

Not my department but I'm sure you have heard over the past couple of decades of short attention span.

Really started appearing during the 1990's with the millennials. I first noticed it with my nephews, nieces and their friends.

While watching television they always have the remote in the hand. They start watching a program and in five minutes they are surfing looking for another program to watch. They find one and five minutes later they lose attention and start surfing through the 200 channels looking for another program.

They have the same problem in the classroom.

But not my department but why didn't my generation (baby boomer) or Generation X and Generation Z have a short attention span problem ?

Some think it might be because of television. My generation was the first generation to grow up watching television. But after school we weren't indoors watching television but were outdoors playing sports, cowboys and Indians, war, entertaining ourselves. Also back then most of America had only three channels to watch unless you lived in a large metropolitan area then you had maybe six channels.

Today kids get out of school and it's all spent indoors watching television, playing video games and watching porn or texting their friend who's sitting eight feet across from them.

    It's called ADHD.

    This is more for entertainment.

It's from a fake news source.

I get such a kick out of the "poorly educated" Trump supporters total inability to respond with even a halfway intelligent response. Thank you for the entertainment from someone who's been lots of "somewheres" in this world.

Well, that would be a well thought out and written reply, if I was looking for a response that makes absolutely no sense at all.

Funny that you would deflect Trumps words to cover Hillary supporters. 'I love the poorly educated' are his EXACT words after he won the Nevada primary. Doesn't that opinion of you, his supporters, bother you just a bit?

Linda Gottfredson, an I.Q. expert at the University of Delaware, called it a creditable analysis said she was not surprised at the results or that so many people had assumed that Mr. Kerry was smarter. "People will often be misled into thinking someone is brighter if he says something complicated they can't understand," Professor Gottfredson said.

The above quote is from fake news N.Y. Times. -> http://www.nytimes.com/2004/10/24/politics/campaign/secret-weapon-for-bush.html But the article actually comes from a more credible news source.
