Emmett Till marker riddled with bullets

Looks like in Mississippi they have inverse beer to braincell ratio.

 

One sign gets shot, by persons unknown, and it means we can paint a whole state as being "dumb".

But when legions of radical Islamies blow people up, shoot people, drive trucks through crowds, and so on, we get lambasted with "oh but they're not all bad youz just a racist" rhetoric.

 

It's been happening to signs that have no historical meaning forever. I think just about every stop sign in any place not in the city where I live must have at least a couple dozen slugs shot thru them. I have doubts that the people shooting at the sign knew or cared what it was about.

 

If we don't need Confederate memorials, we don't need any for Emmett.

The woman, Carolyn Bryant, who fomented the murder with lies and perjury was not brought to justice either. The FBI is as corrupt as the regional police, judge and jury.

My city has so many historical markers that people largely ignore them, having no idea what they say. I have seen one ridiculous one for being near where a tavern used to be that Georhe Washington may have stopped at even though there is no record of it. It is just assumed he probably stopped by there to water his horse.

Have no idea, but the Rosa Parks thing grates on my nerves. Claudette Colvin was the one who first started that. Rosa was just the one the news picked up and ran with because Claudette wasn't as sympathetic a character for the MSM to turn into an icon because she was an unwed teenage mother.

Not really, it would be sad to see from a certain stand point. But I am not going to sit here and pretend all the holes in it were a cause of racism considering the fact that lots of highway signs have bullet holes in them.

Now if there was a huge memorial that is easily noticeable, then yeah its obvious.

I look at the signs, but im not looking for bullet holes nor am I driving close enough to them to just be able to notice. I drive on the road, usually around 70mph on the highway, im not creeping by in the emergency lanes.

 

I doubt if anybody rides down the road looking for bullet holes in road signs, it is not really hard to see them.
