I wish the ACLU legitimately stood up for the constitution, I really do. Their advocacy for the 2nd amendment is truly a disgrace and they should be ashamed of themselves for that.

I like them on various other issues, but cannot get past their disdain for gun liberties. And their constant sucking of the D.

They view the second amendment as protecting the militias right to keep and bear arms, saying nothing about the individual. You only have a right to own guns in the national guard.

Their interpretation is bull(*)(*)(*)(*), and they knowingly don't provide the same amount of rigorous interpretation as they do on any other amendment.

I think it speaks volumes to how much money they want to waste. The only reason the ACLU was even able to get an injunction is because of the Green card holders. Now that that's been resolved, there's nothing illegal about the act.

This was the first day of the new political revolution. To be fair it started with the over one-million women who marched. But marching doesn't pay the bills.

 

Neither, I bother to read about things when people talk about them. It's become especially important since all opposition to Trump MUST happen. Since he is THE next Hitler(or so they think, and if it's not true they're going to do their damned hardest over the next four years to make it true.) Obama's worst fallout was "you lie". We surpassed that level of discourse in 24 hours.
