• One-sided relationships (it's all about them and their needs).
• Harsh punishment of those who criticize or do not help.
• Exaggeration of achievements and abilities.

 

The FBI has said Comey's firing does nothing to slow the investigation.
A special prosecutor will be nothing more than a political stunt. Let the FBI do their job. They have no love for Trump so I'm sure that won't be biased in his favor.

If there's going to be a special prosecutor for the Russian investigation then there needs to be one for the Clinton email and charity foundation investigation.

That's easy to say. But the reality is that Trump has served notice on the FBI and anything he does not like from them will get them fired -- the only trick of this one trick pony.

The FBI has therefore become muted, same as the Senate and House investigation committees, which are nothing more than kangaroo courts run by the GOP.

Only a special prosecutor can get to the root of the Russian involvement now.

 

The FBI is muted?? You really don't have any understanding of how they work. If Trump is guilty, they'll get him. His firing of Comey won't stop them, it'll encourage them.

I can't help but think that the better question right here in this thread is the one I asked. Why does Trump oppose the idea of a Special Prosecutor so much? If this is indeed a "conspiracy theory" then it's one the entire FBI is in on so I would think Trump would want to get to the bottom of it. Instead he acts as if he wishes it would just go away and we would all forget about it, which is exactly how a guilty person would act, indeed, it makes no sense for him to do what he's done unless he is guilty. An innocent individual, especially one being the victim of a conspiracy, would want any investigation to go forward and to be done with the greatest rigor by someone as independent of himself as could be found, so as to be fully exonerated of any suspicion. This is no more nor less than what is being called for, yet Trump opposes it. Why? What does he have to hide?

For the very same reasons that his fans do not want the investigations to continue. They know he is hiding a lot.

 

No Clinton is in any position to have anything of any real substance to say about how any FBI agent will spend the rest of their career. Trump could, and indeed has, fired the FBI Director over this. Additionally, those investigations have pretty well run their course, this one is still ongoing.

 

It's the condescending, intolerant and hateful attitudes from people like you that drove so many people to support Trump.
Face it, the democrats are out of power because they're divisive and hateful and the typical American has had enough of them.

They lost the House, the Senate, the presidency, most state Governors and most state legislators because Americans are tired of their disgusting behavior.

I truly hope so, and what I've read of FBI agents indicates this may indeed be so, they are almost entirely a uniformly admirable group that is only mildly describable as not easily intimidated. OTOH, they do have the same feet of clay as all of God's children, so I would not want to place an additional challenge on their shoulders but instead have them work under a Special Prosecutor who would insulate them from any possible repercussions of what they find out. Thus we would both protect good people and be assured of the veracity of their findings.

If you "special prosecutors" are anything like this then there should be no argument as they can as easily clear someone as indict them
