I know a lot of pro-life folks who know passing a law against abortion is pointless. I don't know what Jones actually thinks about abortion, nor do I care. Jones and Moore can't impact a woman's option to have an abortion, period.

Heck, even if a law was passed, there are off-label drug combinations that can effect an abortion. Not only that, but abortion is available in Canada right next door up to about the 20th week--after that it gets tough because Canadian doctors won't perform abortions on healthy fetuses of healthy women as a matter of medical ethics. You don't think, do you, women's organizations wouldn't arrange to fund Canadian abortions of poor women who couldn't afford a quick trip to Canada?

The simple fact is that women will not go ahead with a pregnancy if they're opposed to having a baby. Pro-life groups would do far more to prevent abortion if they opted to help women who would have a baby but get an abortion because they feel overwhelmed by poverty.

Voting for Roy Moore because he's pro-life is a "feel good" exercise.
