You can't mock Oprah for running if you voted for Trump.

Whew that takes cajones in this day and age to admit that.

The post is accurate, though. I'd never personally want Oprah as a candidate, but she is no more or less qualified than orange crush. You could even argue more qualified than trump because she didn't build her fortune with daddy's money, and actually has an ounce of intelligence.

I think this presidency has taught us that the experiment with TV personalities has been a failure.

I got farther than I thought in this thread without an alt righty spewing some good old fashioned misogyny. Thanks for lowering the bar.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories but, you just might be a troll. Racism and misogyny in one post!

Don't confuse a horrific failure of democracy and a betrayal by the voters as a trump accomplishment. You might as well congratulate Hitler for his brilliance. He came to power using much the same tools as trump did.

Oprah is far better choice than any other leading Democrat, but that is not saying much.
Trump ran on several specific proposals - does Oprah stand for anything? Anything other than more empty DP platitudes?

That is probably the most you can expect if you are a Democrat. A free new care would be nice - except for the taxes.

    Wrong.

It has nothing to do with a person earning the "right" to run for office. It has everything to do with being qualified and capable of holding the office.

Oprah is a hyper partisan, and a hypocrite.

Her big problem is that her career has been spent surrounded by the sexual predators and abusers of Hollywood. Decades of association with the Weinstein's of the world, and she utters not a peep - but now she pretends to want to give a voice to women.

Moronic response on your part. It is perfectly possible to support a political position and NOT support a political candidate. Only an idiot would sopport a candidate one one item - like bumper sticker slogans such as “drain the swamp”.

I said many times before the election that both the candidates were toxic. Hillary was not a good alternative to Trump, that’s why she lost.

Oprah was a big friend of Harvey - and they all knew exactly what Harvey and his ilk very well. That is not a political asset now.

They are not racially black/African. Neither are most people in North Africa. Most of them are semitic, not African.

What's really strange about self-loathing white progressives is that you would think, based on their obvious racial guilt and willingness to offer up their entire race to condemnation, that these would be low self-esteem people, but in reality they are the most arrogant people you will ever meet. Their fawning over blacks and other minorities comes from a position of condescension, not legitimate respect.
