Putin has mentioned (publicly, i can quote if it matters) considering laxxing gun laws in Russia, and it would make sense that the NRA would be consulted on such an endeavor, what with it being the most influencial and experienced gun rights organization on the planet.

I wonder which would garner more ire from the left- consulting a foreign govt for money, or consulting Russia specifically free of charge.

The NRA is damned if they do, damned if they dont afa the left is concerned.

I hope, if the NRA violated any laws, that the government finally shuts down that quazi-terrorist group.

I am afraid I must disagree with you wholeheartedly. They will never ever run out of things to whine about . Especially as Trump is making America Great Again. You know they hate that !

what part of defending a constitutional right from a nanny state do you suppose qualifies as 'terrorism'?

I think the NRA is doing a tremendous service in educating and helping arm the most vulnerable citizens of this increasingly hostile and criminal environment.

The part where she hates the fact the law abiding have the right to keep and bear arms.
After all, the state cannot have a monopoly on force so long as the citizenry remains armed.

Yes -- down 55% or so since 1993.
Meanwhile, scores of millions of new guns made their way onto the civilian market and into the hands of the general populace.
Apparently, more guns does not equal more crime.

Lots of things have happened over the last 25 years and most of them have as little to do with crime decreasing as does gun nuts adding 10 more guns to their collections

You missed the point, of course:
Apparently, more guns does not equal more crime.

Never said or implied that it does,

    So tell us...

You don't care that the Russian government and the NRA are best buds and that it looks like the Russian government was funding Trump's campaign illegally through the NRA?

    I see.
So, you disagree with those that make this claim -- right?

Unsupportable nonsense, as demonstrated by my first post in this subject.

Hey, that's a good thing. Criminals, many of whom just will come up and attack you for no reason at all, know you might be armed. Although youtube is full of videos that challenge that.
