Has someone in this forum ever claimed that the delegates at the conventions were armed? I missed that.

 

That was not the question. I said that the RNC did not want delegates or guests to be armed. Weapons were not allowed is what I understood.

 

The topic was gun free zones , which schools tend to be in some places. But not exclusively. I "work" in a gun free zone, it's called the VA, and us Veterans do not get to excercise our fights under the 2nd amendment at the VA. At least my VA. I was told that there was an incident with a Vetbwho did not like the fact that he dud not get what he wanted fir disability rating so he went bizerk. How we need to go trough mental detectors in some places in the building.

About a year and a half ago the paid employee who I work with was threatened by a patient of ours who did not get a refill order for pain meds. The guy called us after he got home and told the paid employee that he was coming back back with a gun and he would " shoot our asses". He has to report to the VA police office from now on when he comes in for appointments. We are barred from bringing in defensive weapons.

I think someone needs to start a movement called " Just say no" directed to all these Hollywood women who can yell sexual harassment 20 yrs after the fact but didn't have the courage to take action against a sexual,predator because doing so put her career ar risk. They are as guilty as their all edged harassers.

 

Hollywood management is becoming very adept at losing money.

 

Of course someone with a gun can enter the zone if there are no barriers but that is not the reason that there are gun free zones. The only people who think so would those who believe that Soros pays BigFoot to demonstrate as an Anita proponent.

Mmm, maybe...but maybe not.

All three have traditionally been liberal leaning, so that is a rather spurious at best motivation for the lower than average ratings. It also assumes the vast majority of the country is right leaning, which it is not.

Like the entirety of entertainment, there's a flood of options available now to the consumer unlike at any other time in the history of entertainment. The days of epic blockbusters on the scale the industry became accustomed to are long gone.

In fact, I really think the real winner in this category of awards show will be the Emmys, as they appear to reflect the diversity of the most watched entertainment today, which is the long form series.
