    Trump always supported free trade. This seems as expected to me. He insists on fairness, however. Without tariffs, companies can compete on products instead of barriers and tariffs.

    I would support it 100% if he can achieve it.

    But there are too many American industries / companies that would be petrified of the thought of actually competing with the rest of the world without tariffs, that it is never going to happen.

    Same in other countries too.

    He is talking a good talk because he knows he will never have to walk the walk.
