Is race traitor a valid concept?

I will note, that if race traitor is a valid concept, that means that folks like Kim KAr, who right wingers lurve, and Kanye, who they worship, would be race traitors.

Same with Tiger Woods, and Clarence Thomas.

 

If it were not for race traitors, I would not be here making key strokes. The racial purists will never admit it but they wished I did not exist. I would not if they had their way in 1980 (they year my Caucasian dad and my Southeast Asian mum married).

I find the concept of a race traitor quite troubling on any number of levels. First is the absurd and ultimately self defeating proposition that race is more important than anything else. It is not and it cannot be. 2nd is that it calls into being that everyone of a given race must share the same ideas no matter how stupid and ultimately self defeating those ideas might happen to be. 3rd and finally what the hell is this preoccupation with the wrapping paper? If you can't get passed the damn wrapping paper how the hell do you plan on understanding the reality within.

 

I haven't heard the term 'race traitor' in 50+ years. Used by a$$holes and racists, usually one and the same, it was BS then and is still BS now. Who is using the term now?

 

What? Haven't you seen the many posts made by far right radicals on this forum who accuse liberals or Democrats of being haters of white people? While you are correct when you say they are a$$holes and racists, I am surprised that you missed their posts on this forum.

 

Saying someone hates white people is not accusing them of being a race traitor.

Search back about a year on this forum, there were several members who accused others of betraying their race because they supported mixed trace dating/marriage.

If you start to listen to the intelligent blacks, they can explain it. They do not horse around and do a lot for their children and work to keep their children from a life of crime.

In real life, it does not bother me at all. Where I live there is almost no racism except some stupid kids calling tourists 'bule' (pronounced boo-lay) which means 'white person'. And even then they mean it affectionately.

It's only bothersome here on this Internet forum where some foul creatures reside that muddy up otherwise fascinating and healthy debates.

Race traitor is valid, but in certain situations. If you go to prison and find out that prisoners segregate by race in order to protect themselves from the other races, you can either decide to hell with that stupidity, or you can help your new friends.

Yes, it's stupid to segregate based on race, but if that's the way things work, and the segregation is how you stay alive, then that's what you do.

I think there may be such a thing, but we have to be very careful how we define it and intent to harm has to be pivotal. The examples above do not qualify.
