The YAF supported the Vietnam war effort. They opposed the draft.

The YAF would become the Libertarian Party.

Could be, all I've heard for the last year and a half was NFL Players vs. Trump. Whatever it was has long been lost to time and history.

I know, I was just trying to get you so hot that you would go down and buy some ice cold Coors, drink em and throw the bottles up and shoot them out of the air with your Colt 45 Automatic. You got to stay sharp these days...

Free speech does not mean free of repercussions. They have every right to kneel and the rest of America has every right to call them dumbasses for it and the nfl has every right to act in whatever way the feel is within the organizations best interests. I understand you don’t like other people having opinions but that’s just the way the world works. Deal with it.

I didn't say it was insulting to you, I said it was insulting to me. I don't think my country sucks, I don't give a **** if you do.

Good for you, so now you feel special some how? I served for 5 years, Airborne and I am also a grunt,11B. I think it's quite insulting for them to kneel because you know the guys who had their legs blown off in an IED can't stand. I think they have more say on the matter. How about the ones who gave up a million dollar career playing in the NFL decided to go serve and are now six feet under. Oh, that's right they gave the ultimate sacrifice and have no say on the matter. Then you want to come on here flaunt of your position that you're 11B and some how you're opinion is more important some how?

Kaepernick says my country sucks. Anyone who supports Kap is supporting that point of view. If you do, go for it but I've got nothing in common with your type.

Your country? This isn't your country. It's our country, and there's only one type, American.

You think if a couple guys don't kneel their legs are going to grow back? You want to support the amputees? Get them an increase in their VA compensation and cut the phony flag sh*t.

Well, someone is triggered. The effing point, they can't stand because their legs are blown off while everyone is bitching about it has the luxury to kneel or stand. VA compensation even at 100% disability is like $3k/month. Even then, vets who do have their legs blown off don't get automatic 100%. You guys don't care about that, only praising a football player who makes millions has the right to kneel and disrespect our country all over police brutality. Which is this all about right?

having nothing but fallacy and repeal, is more insulting; the right wing should have better solutions at lower cost.

Did I say my opinion was more important? No.

My point was simple. That a lot of people are using the military as an excuse to be butthurt over Kap's protest, when in fact the people of the military are not all in line with that thinking.

Also, don't lecture me on sacrifice. Today is the anniversary of my platoon sgts death. I am well aware of the sacrifices made. SSG Bourdon was killed by a sniper in the area around Haifa st on this day in 2004.

He was a great leader who cared for us like we were his own sons.

Let me repeat. You want to help the amputees, vote for politicians that will increase their VA Comp. Forget about the phony patriotic cr*p. That doesn't help them one bit.

You know how this works Airborne?

Say you have two 60s. The first gets you 60%. The next one is 60% of the 40% you have left. Then don't forget the bilateral factor which is a straight add on:

    Get these guys a raise.

Likewise. And yes, a vet carries more weight on the topic than a college kid with no life experience.

No, you are not allowed to ACT against anyone. You can have an opinion, but to act against people is likely violating their rights.

I always laugh when veterans speak out about this saying they're not offended and that free speech is one of the right's they served to defend, but the folks with the faux outrage keep right on going, even going so far as to call them "traitors". That's dedication to the illusion that these protests have anything whatsoever to do with disrespecting veterans right there. It'd be almost admirable if it wasn't so stupid.

Might you elaborate on how you are offended?

I respect your opinion, but I'm just curious as to how it offends you when players kneel for the anthem?

In the last week of Gold Phase of OSUT (not sure what phase it was called when you went through), our DS's became super cool. It was like week 15 I believe. We got a week to rest before the ceremony but it was so ****ing boring. Each day before graduation the DS's would come in and tell us stories about combat. It was intense, but a good sense of what was to come in Iraq/Afgh.

Right. The NFL is just going to adopt the NBA's strategy. Don't stand, don't get that game day check for that game. They'll just restructure contracts. Like I said, I'm not offended by them kneeling. I think the fist in the air gesture is retarded but if they want to do that, it's fine.

The NFL will just adjust as the NBA has their contracts worked.

Yeah, I don't remember the name of the phases other than 'total control' for the first 8 weeks. But yeah, towards the end our DSs did the same thing with us. We even watched Starship Troopers and ordered pizza...LOL
