You're the one trying to fault him here will show you know what you are talking about. To whom was he speaking and where? Simple question. What was he talking about? If you are going to attack him for at least educate yourself. It was a perfectly reasonable and appropriate comment to make at the time.

Trump has taken nearly $10 million from FEMA's response and recovery funds to pay for detention centers for people who DARE come here seeking asylum. Imagine the level of sociopathy here.... he harms a program that helps people and saves lives, in order to harm people who are seeking asylum!!! And we still have to put up with him a bit longer???

Come on they was severity limited by both their resources and fear that they would be blame for any harm the seeded storms did after seeding.

In fact some idiot did sue them over a storm that they did in fact not seeded but that was just on a list of possible storms to be seeded.

Sorry but the noise to signal ratio was so bad that no firm conclusion can be drawn from those 1960s experiments and in my opinion some of the results they did get /look interesting enough that the program should be redone with all the benefits of modern hardware and knowledge gain in the last sixty years.

I'm pretty sure wave energy is reliable as well as tide generators, but you are correct it is an imvestment.

Still a very dangerous storm that will cost taxpayers several billion and most likely some people their lives. Shouldn’t be a political debate, yet at least, but I guess everything is these days.

The prediction models and forecaster have struggled with this system far more then usual. Has been a very hard storm to get a read on. I hope I’m wrong but it will most likely be one of the top 10 most expensive Hurricanes in US history by the time it’s over IMHO.

Down to a Cat 2 this morning, thank goodness.

Flo's still an enormous and dangerous storm, but I'll take a Cat 2 over a Cat 4 any day of the week...

Are you suggesting that FEMA may run out of money before their job is done with hurricane relief efforts, and that will cause them to have to fold up and go home?

Or do you think it's more likely they would receive an immediate extension if they ran out of money?

It's funny how the people who brought us "Hillary in a landslide!" are predicting the federal response to a hurricane that hasn't even made landfall yet.

They must be horribly disappointed that Flo is down to a Cat 2 this morning - they clearly want North and South Carolinians to suffer...:boo:

You mean FEMA could receive more money if needed, just like they do after every major natural disaster?

Yep. No doubt 2 is better than 4. But as perspective, Sandy was a category 1 storm.

This one is slowing, but getting wider. It's going to park itself over the most densely populated part of the Carolinas coasts and spin for a full day.

It would not surprise me if this turns out to be the worst storm in history in terms of property loss.

No doubt politics will come into play. After all, for the New Democratic Party, it's always party over people, and their partners in the MSM will help carry out the strategy.

True. One needs look no further than @Kode posts in this thread to see that mindset at work. They will fabricate and spin anything to try to undermine their opposition, no matter how egregious, and no matter how silly it makes them look.
