Let’s not forget that shortly after Bernie began saying that one of his supporters obeyed his orders and went and shot a bunch of republicans while shouting about healthcare. Was Bernie responsible for that?

If this is truly a right wing extremist, why say he's "sick" or "deranged" as likely he wouldn't be, and would, much like McVeigh then be proud of his accomplishments. I doubt he'd be "deranged" then. If it turns out, this is the responsible one, and he's been known by law enforcement, why haven't they previously incarcerated him for his terror or threats of it? This seems contradictory, or at least a massive failure of those in law enforcement who might have protected us from the existential anxiety being suffered on the left today...

This incident is not the result of a political group, but of one obsessed person with a long criminal record. The very fact you try to tie that to the entire right proves my point. And nobody- nobody- on the right is going to defend the guy in any way. Trump has been seeing to it that the maximum efforts to catch the guy were in play, and they worked very well. And for realz, 3. Who wins on law and order issues? Which party wins that and has for decades? Regardless of what crazy supported whom when they shot up a softball game or sent fake bombs, WHO WINS ON THE LAW AND ORDER ISSUE AND ALWAYS HAS? Who devotes an outsized amount of their campaigning to that and has for decades?

Doesn't matter who did what or whom they supported, few who consider "law and order" a primary voting issue (I don't myself but millions do) are going to vote Democrat in an escalating violent political landscape. This, and any other attacks BY ANYONE between now and midterms help the GOP even more. The best possible outcome for the GOP could be astroturfed street riots in outrage over the MAGAbomber (more likely the Unabrowbomber).
