Politico: Poll - Plurality of Americans Believe Trump Was Spied On

Nearly 4-in-10 voters believe Donald Trump’s presidential campaign was spied on during the 2016 election, according to a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll.


Thirty-eight percent of respondents said they believe the Trump campaign was spied on, compared to 28 percent who said they don’t believe the president’s campaign was spied on. More than a third, 35 percent, said they don’t know or have no opinion about it.

I understand the 35% that say "they don't know or have no opinion", because about that percent simply does not stay informed on a regular basis. But, the 28% of those who don't believe it happened are either brainwashed beyond repair, living in total denial, or simply answering the poll in their partisan way, because they don't care.

The evidence is not even at question anymore. The DoJ/FBI received FISA Warrants to spy on the Trump team. It happened. There is documentation thanks to FOIA releases. It surveillance was ongoing, involved multiple members of Trump's team and hundreds of people that got caught up contacting those with warrants on them like Carter Page.

It will be nice when this finally is forced to be reported on by the Mainstream Media to see most of the 35% come around too.

Counterintellegence and search warrant are incompatible concepts. This was spying from the onset as all counterintellegence operations are. Beyong the FISA abuses, which are an enormous breach in the first place, comes the massive amounts of unmaskings conducted at a record pace by the Obama Administration. They were spying their asses off and now the populace will know what those that have read the FOIA releases know and it doesn't go well for Democrats. Facts will bury the Democrats. The ones who "stay informed" know that this is nonsense, and that Trump's bellow was false from the very beginning.

But Trump and the noise machine the blows with him have succeeded in casting doubt on the established facts.

Counterintellegence run on an opposition candidate in a "democracy" is antithetical to the entire concept of "We The People." Before we can have a discussion we need to define terms, right? There was no "court" of any sort you or I would recognize as legitimate that was told anything. It was a Star Chamber, a tool of dictators and monarchs.
