This is my belief. I do anesthesia so have a little exposure to medical things. You need, at minimum, a heart beat, and a functioning brain to be alive. AT MINIMUM. You ALSO need functional lungs, but that’s much later on and can be temporized with medical treatment.

I’m blown away that plebs still argue about this stuff... if the fetus is NOT viable outside the womb, it’s not a person yet. YET, here, in this case, is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is present tense. Potential life is not life.

Brain dead is also called organ donors. People without lungs need ECMO to stay alive until they can get lungs. People without working hearts, same.

So, since it’s actually been very established what is needed for life, why the hell do these lawmakers keep writing laws contrary to this?
