But think of all the Trump voters who stayed home because the MSM shattered their hopes.

Ginsburg is a joke, and the only people that idolize her are moronic millennials and Gen Z’ers that get their news from SNL. They see what’s-her-face play her as a hip granny and they think she is cool. She is an activist judge that never should have been on the Supreme Court to begin with.

You did. Trump is Hillary. Both toxic drama queens. There is no difference between the two.

I can't imagine even 29% selecting RBG, but maybe because my first assumption was that the question relates to "who would I prefer today"

In that event I think it should be 2.9% for RBG simply due to age.

Online polls are pretty worthless - they become targets of bots and jokesters. Only idiots and trolls would use them to decide anything.

There is not a speck of evidence to support that.

totally agree, frankly I don't feel much better about phone polls either, the few that I've had the patience to make it past the first 5 questions always ended up progressing into more and more slanted questions, you realize its a poll with an agenda, then you hang up, frustrated.

    I hate people.

Here’s why. The Supreme Court, the highest in this country, should have no political affiliation. Yet, it’s treated like the same circus as the other houses. We deserve whatever dumpster fire laws and government that goes through.

(Shrug) Judges are just human beings and political affiliations have always been acknowledged as part and parcel of their judicial being. The better ones try to make their rulings according to legal precedent, however, even though they could simply declare, "I believe in so and so and thus I will ALWAYS rule in this direction no matter what." After all, as long as he or she can find a precedent that seems to support each biased ruling then nothing can be done about the practice.

So the reality is stuck somewhere between people like Ginsburg who's exclusively a leftist tool and Clarence Thomas who always bats hard right; and the middle which used to be Kennedy and before that O' Connor. The other justices sort of wander from side to side -- or in other words the conservatives are not always conservatives and the liberals are not always liberal on every issue. It works better than one would expect . . . on the whole.

The left has politicized all of American society for decades. The right is slowly learning to play the game.

She was an embarrassment twenty years ago. Now she's simply a running joke.

I reject this line of thinking. Humans are humans. But this right vs left BS is not an intrinsic property to life. And plenty of people in this world are above the political spectrum, from an intellectual perspective. Academics. Truth.

Truth, by the way, has no home with the left or right. We can be a lot better than this. And we deserve all the garbage that comes our way.
