Trump is all about money and he's not well educated.. He may be oblivious. Remember his campaign remarks about being the king of debt? His focus is very narrow. I can't recall him ever saying anything about American values or principles.
Tell a soldier combat isnt war and while youre at it read the definition of war war verb (1) warred; warring Definition of war (Entry 2 of 4) intransitive verb 1 : to be in active or vigorous conflict 2 : to engage in warfare
Socialism: Serve society—creates Gulags and killing fields. Fascism: Serve the state—Creates concentration camps and gas showers Capitalism: Serve yourself— Creates Skyscrapers and spaceships. I know which one I choose. What about you?
I think one must always look at the era to understand what was going on. The communist 'internationalist' movement had its adherents in the 1920's and especially with the depression later on. This panicked most people in Europe, who feared the rise of communism and also appalled at the atrocities going on in Russia - and especially against Christianity and the Church. In order to oppose it and retain their cultural identity, they became adamant 'nationalists'. Where as Marxism tried to eliminate all self identity such as ethnicity, religion, family trade and ownerships, fascists went in the opposite direction. To oppose communism, they began emphasizing ethnicity, family, culture, traditions and Church. The fascists were socialists, but it had nothing to do with communism - which was a completely different and opposing ballgame. This is why they fought.
Isn't there a provision in our Constitution that says congress should not fund war efforts longer than two years???I believe it is a provision in Article 1.
This reads suspiciously like a left wing interpretation, written in such a way as to encompass non-fascist but conservative people (the "rampant sexism" gives it away. Where's the transgender in it all?) It reads like modern China, and there's strong elements of Stalin's Soviet in it too - labor was suppressed, intellectuals in the Gulags/re-education centers or killing fields etc.. "Corporate power protected" doesn't speak to me of liberal democracies, just look at the on-going legal woes faced by Purdue and Johnston & Johnston. ... but, not "rampant corruption" as Hanoi accused Saigon before 1975, but a form of TOTAL CORRUPTION, ie the state simply owns everything. Dinesh D'Souza gave a good definition of Fascism, must go back over this videos again.
Veterans to Congress: End Forever Wars I totally agree with them on this, but do it in a sensible, respectful, descent way--NOT by simply, unilaterally abandoning our allies in the field of battle like we did with the Kurds in Syria, & tried to do with our friends in Ukraine.
Allies? That the Kurds have helped us commit military aggression against Syria makes us partners in crime, not allies. Ditto for the Nazis for Nuland in Ukraine.
Hell, send in the Seals and put a hole in the vile murdering monster dictator’s head. He’s earned it, and humanity will be better off. And that’s exactly what justice is, getting your just desserts.
Do you know the difference between a noun and a verb. We are talking war as a noun not warring as a verb.

Easily. In the first place we had no business in Syria, and no legal or moral authority to be there. Secondly, the US and Israel supported ISIS. Do you remember when they first came out they were driving trucks from the US? Covert ops do many things.
I don't dispute your view that the U.S. had no business in Syria, but as a history buff, I know many international developments throughout history, share in that same quandary. Syria became the focal point of the growing ISIS organization over time, & a good place from which to fight it. ISIS was so extreme in their views & their rule, that no one's human rights were acknowledged or honored. ISIS became the most negative, dark, deadly interpretation of Islam in the world, & a threat to anything or anyone daring to disagree with that extremism--including the western democracies & the U.S. ISIS makes even the Taliban & Al-Qaeda look moderate by comparison. I know of no time or example of Israel or the U.S. knowingly supporting ISIS. The American vehicles cited by you were most likely confiscated by ISIS, & used by them as any other vehicle was that they could get their hands on.
Americans were disemboweled over money before trump and by both parties and our sociopathic elites. You are looking through a microscope but cannot see the big picture.
ISIS , AQ and AN were being supported financially and with logistics by at least the Saudis and the good old USA But I doubt the US was supporting those radicals intentionally but knew these radicals had access to what we were giving to the FSA. We used all of those radicals to fight assad and take down syria using proxies. Our involvement there was regime change even if Syria was to become an isis caliphate. It is not coincidental that the radicals were beat back only after assad asked Russia for help. For until then isis and other radicals were our proxies. You cannot take down assad by war without financing supplies and other logistics. Russia getting involved revealed how little we were doing in going after the various groups of radicals. Russia getting involvedforced us into looking like we wwere going after radicals. Hell until recently we would not let assad or Russia go after AQ in Idleb! And once we stopped protecting these bastards the leader of AQ was finally killed.
Want prosperity not war? Embrace individualism not collectivism, selfishness not altruism, capitalism not socialism, liberty not tyranny. Make money not war.
If the war on terror is a "dismal failure" then how many Islamist terrorists have perpetrated attacks on American soil? The thing about "forever wars" is that - in Islam, in particular, you have a forever enemy. The way to address their grievances is to convert to Islam. This however won't end the war because you will have to decide if you are going to convert to Sunni or Shia Islam - and they hate each other.
