I really hesitate at the use of "creativity", and that word could be used in so many ways, which could then support either side of the argument depending on the use. That why I make the point of content used in creation. I don't have to have "creativity" to follow instructions on how to bake a cake, or more importantly for the issue, to add specific content, be it ingredients or wording or images, to a product.

 

Writing a recipe is a creative process. I agree that using the recipe is not creative but the decision was meant to protect the recipe writer, not the user.

I was thinking more along the lines that someone using the recipe can say that they are not using onions, if for some reason they object to onions, or to reject the recipe altogether even if the customer wants them to use the recipe.

Some members of the LGBTQ+ community have been banned from a hair salon in Michigan in a breathtaking display of ignorance and bigotry.

The owner of Studio 8 Hair Lab, Christine Geiger, said in a Facebook post that she is exercising her right to free speech by refusing specific customers her services. She also compared gender-diverse people to animals, the Kansas City Starreports.

“If a human identifies as anything other than a man/woman, please seek services at a local pet groomer,” urged the hair salon owner. “You are not welcome at this salon. Period.”

The salon’s Facebook page was later deleted, and its Instagram profile was set to private. A description of the business on Instagram says it is “A private CONSERVATIVE business that does not cater to woke ideologies.”
