SO when do you plan to admit you were wrong? You posted something that was factually incorrect. Either you did that knowingly or you didn't bother to fact check whatever website you got it from. Are we going to get an apology or even an admission you got it wrong? Time to man up and admit you were wrong.

Once again, I’ve already knew several indisputable facts that contradicted the OP’s claim;

1. Late 2023, OPEC+/Russia agreed to cut their oil production output by 2.2 million barrels per day.

2. One month ago, OPEC+/Russia extended their 2023’s production cuts til the end of June 2024.

3. One month ago, Russia voluntarily cut their output by an additional 500,000 barrels per day.

4. Russia wanted to extend the cuts til end of December 2024, thus, til after the election.


Thus, all of the above INVALIDATED the following claim;

“Biden lifted sanctions on Russia to lower oil and gas prices”

Last, thanks to other above average intelligent posters, we’ve killed this thread.

 

To be fair — did you look at who those 5 posters were?

You can pretty much tell the accuracy of a claim by seeing if those have “liked” it.

I then asked the OP how? Thus, how lifting the sanctions would lower oil and gas prices?

NOTE; My asking the HOW was an entrapment, thus, in the hope that he would teach me a lesson on ECONOMIC 101, and just like you did!

If you do not believe that a hypothetical lifting of sanctions on an oil producing state that results in them being allowed to sell more product onto the market would increase supply and necessarily cause prices to fall, then we can discuss that.
