Well I guess it's just as well that you guys don't have guns, the last time your country had guns you guys tried to take over the world and killed 6 million Jews.

Fun fact though, it doesn't matter if you're famous or just an average Joe, dead is dead.

And acting like you can't face any personal threats in your country is very naive.

I'm not even an NRA member so I don't know how you think that you should criticize me and them at the same time.

I'll start keeping a closer eye on my gun, I mean as far as I know it never does anything but just sit there unless I take it out in the woods on private property to shoot it, but maybe it's doing dangerous things when I'm not watching ?

Or Australia mate. As far as we are concerned America is a prime example of how not to deal with firearm mortality

Again, all crime soars even after Gun Bans are imposed.

Correct. America, like Australia, is a land of Gun Free Killing Zones.

Australians may be more at risk from gun crime than ever before with the country’s underground market for firearms ballooning in the past decade.Previously unseen police statistics show that the number of pistol-related offences doubled in Victoria and rose by 300 per cent in New South Wales. At least two other states also saw a massive jump in firearms-related offences during the same period.”

Yes, and reviewing examples of British idiocy is also good entertainment for Americans even though more than 2 centuries have past since the Revolution.
Nevertheless, the Brit military bosses are not the only idiots. Bad judgment is a universal human problem.

you again demonstrate confusion. what Finland is doing is creating public rifle ranges for people to practice shooting skills. that appears to be the message you either were unable to comprehend or that you deliberately ignored. shall I repost my opening submission so as to prove I am correct about your comments?

This is what I'd like to see the USA do-open up hundreds of shooting ranges so more people know how to shoot safely and accurately

And they also require gun registrations and background checks. Let’s look at the whole picture, and let’s adopt it all!

Ever heard the old saying about bringing a horse to water? I guess I am a cynic but teaching people to shoot safely doesn’t depend on just rifle ranges

Finland isn't interested, like the NRA does, in spreading weapons to whoever will buy them. The Finnish, as the Swiss, learn to shoot to defend their country, not to shoot their neighbors.
Did you know that there are thousands of shooting clubs (13974 to be exact) in Germany with more than a million members?

Why not, as long as they lock up their guns in safes at the shooting range after the practise?

Exactly! Research has shown that the single most effective intervention to reduce firearm mortality is locking up the guns between uses.

His point is that YOU MISS THE POINT. By ignoring the sum total of Finnish attitudes towards guns.

the point that you and other gun banners ignore, is that the government of Finland has decided to fund hundreds of shooting facilities in an effort to make the shooting sports more attractive to Finns, which also has a benefit to the country.

Nice evasion. Like Finland, all guns should be registered in the US. Like Finland, there should be other controls.

there are more than enough controls and registration is both unconstitutional and the wet dream of gun banners and confiscators.

That's exactly the point. No-one in Finland is interested in school shootings or drunk citizens with guns in their cars.
