But, state campaign finance laws don't apply to Federal elections.

    VERY FIRST SENTENCE:

"THE GRAND JURY OF THE COUNTY OF NEW YORK, by this indictment, accuses
the defendant of the crime of FALSIFYING BUSINESS RECORDS IN THE FIRST
DEGREE, in violation of Penal Law §175.10, committed as follows:
    "

    Falsifying business records IS FRAUD.

Paying a lawyer does not make it a legal fee.

But is wasn't legal fees, it WAS reimbursement for paying off his whore to keep her mouth shut.

Apparently NY thinks they do. And by not taking up his appeal, so does the U.S. Supreme Court.

It didn't matter when Hilary did it. It doesn't matter now. I don't care if that is a whataboutism. In this instance using it is appropriate. Slap him with a fine and move on. Trying to twist this into 34 felonies is mind numbingly stupid! If they wanted to charge someone, go after Stormy for extortion. The case for that might be questionable but has more merit than this.

Apparently they're lying. And if they aren't lying, it's because they're too stupid to know their own state laws.

Show us where the Supreme Court ruled that state campaign finance laws apply to Federal elections. Link?

And you keep ignoring that in NY two concurrent crimes make a high crime, a jailable felony, a high crime. So, try addressing this Trump turd that requires some shining work:
Both crimes together/in conjunction , in NY state, they make a high crime, felonious fraud brah.....tis' stark reality, asile 4 clean up is a really big job. My advice, hope for a sect member on the jury :)!

Womanizing aside, NDA agreements are legal fees. The person who put it in the ledger said he did it on his own volition and their accounting software was dated. He selected an expense type that made the most sense... It wasn't dining & entertainment, utilities, rent, etc. It was the cost of engaging in a legal contract as well as his attorney's time. That is a "legal expense."

If it were that simple why would Micheal Cohen have to mortgage his home and be reimbursed.
Hum, a lie to cover up fraud, whoever heard of such a thing?

Two crimes, in conjunction, high crime brah, deny all you need to, the jury is in the room and the rule of law won't be undermined by desperate RW talking points Trump's lawyers aren't even discussing. Maybe that's all the RW pundits have, spinning B/S when they can't deal with the facts. Try again WBK, put that Trump U law degree where it belongs and flush...:)

I did in my first reply to you when you were hijacking this thread that was created to discuss tRaitor tRump's life of fraud.

So...... where is the "state campaign finance law crime" you were to present?
Why do you show us a misdemeanor that the statute of limitation ran out A LONG TIME AGO?

I know you're wrong and refuse to be baited into pointless debate. And really, I am not the judge; you really should go to NY and see how fare your nonsense gets you.

Fraud sounds like a very good explanation of Bragg's case as does Daniels ever changing story which should open her up to perjury charges.

    Because he's an idiot.

Poor attempt at moving goalposts to hide from the humourous fact that you didn't know paying for a legal contract and your attorney's time negotiating that contract are "legal expenses."

So you don't think a fine would suffice for reporting payment to a lawyer as legal fees?

Oh hell no! Trump has...to...go...to...jail to keep him from running for office.

He has to be jailed to prevent him from running, in the name of democracy...lol

Good point, anyone that would jeopardize the well being of their family for tRaitor tRump is certainly suspect.
I know that, but, in this case, the theory is that those transactions were made to fraudulently hide payments to Daniels to keep it from public knowledge so it wouldn't impact his chances for election.
