Yesterday's testimony was he gets the invoice stapled to the check and there are times where he voids the check and no pay.
So with each of Cohen's $35,000 check there was an invoice for "legal services" for such and such month in 2017 attached.

 

And he's known to be a cheap **** who tries to get out paying for anything he can...or delay payment by negotiating ...probably again.
