The twisters were reported in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Tennessee.

Is it karma for backing Trump "climate hoax" rhetoric?

In all seriousness, eat your heart out -- No twisters in California nothing but sun

    Ouch!

so the next time California gets nailed with massive forest fires or an earthquake, should we on the right be gloating?

Anomalies occur in everything, including the weather.

Check out the dates of the highest recorded temps by state as of 2023. Only 3 states broke heat records since 1994. But if anyone is going to blame the tornadoes on global warming, then I guess all the effort, expense, grief and misery of going green ain't doing squat.

    Enjoy your electric vehicle.

Only 2% - think about that, no really, think about that. Also, think about a teeny tiny minuscule fraction of that 2% painting their streets white to fight global warming.

Los Angeles is painting some of its streets white and the reasons why are pretty cool

In the race to combat climate change, the city of Los Angeles is employing a surprising new tactic -- covering its streets in a grayish-white coating known as CoolSeal. It's sprayed onto the roadway with trucks, then spread across the surface with squeegees. However, its impact extends far beyond the edge of the pavement.

Even twisters have certain standards that they keep and won't go into blue states because all they do is throw the crap around while in there... You will never see a twister in DC

Severe thunderstorms and tornadoes are primarily a result of the geographic configuration of the US. With a high pressure area in the eastern US, warm moist air moves up around from the western Gulf of Mexico.. The warn moist air moves up from around Eastern and Western Louisianna into Oklahoma, Kansas and the other states in Tornado Alley. A cold front comes down from the NW and lifts that warm moist area with resultant severe thunderstones and tornadoes. Tornados tend to occur in the late spring and early summer long before maximum heating takes place. Let me repeat again, the tornadoes tend to occur before we get high temperatures in the summer.

That is the most common tornado generation. It can and does happen infrequently elsewhere and in other conditions.

Global warming has little to nothing to do with it.

I wouldn’t gloat if I were you given how CA has catastrophic wildfires, mudslides and earthquakes. Not to mention you shouldn’t gloat about fellow Americans having to deal with the tragedies that often come with tornadoes. Not cool dude.

...are you actually insinuating that tornados in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Tennessee are from climate change?

Fires can happen anywhere but I've never had my house burn down.

As for Earthquakes. In CA, since 1950, though there are several little ones every year where we can feel the house shake, just a little, never enough to tip anything over, those happen a few time every year, there were only four really big ones where billions of damage occurred and a few dozen deaths. So, they are RARE, and even then you have to be unlucky enough to be near the epicenter where the damage is being done.

I've been in CA since 1959 and been in all the earthquakes, and not one of them even tipped over a wine class in the cupboard. Sure, those near the epicenter got some damage, but out of 163k sq miles in CA, the odds of being near an epicenter are slim. You just have to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, it's like winning the negative lottery, the odds are slim that it will happen to you. Though, of course, it could happen. But, a hurricane, which is often wider than the state of FLA, hits several states and cuts a wide path . I've been in a hurricane, hurricane Betsy in 1965 in FLA. I'll take an earthquake any day of the week to a tornado or a hurricane. Earthquakes are over in a few seconds.

I've been in every CA earthquake going back to 1959, and not one of them so much as tipped over a wine class in my cupboard. The epicenter isn't that large, usually, several miles compared to 163k sq miles in the state, so to ge damaged by an earthquake in CA, you just have be really unlucky, There have only been four really big ones since 1950, that did billions in damage and several dozen got killed. But, again, you had to be unlucky if you were in the area where the damage was done. All the others, you can barely feel them. A shake for a few seconds and it's over.

Karma is every bit as much mumbo jumbo as all other cults and religions. I know this because Trump, a man who's never had to work hard, is a rich ex-president who has not (yet) been held accountable, while most of us are still trying to dust ourselves off from the mess(es) he created.

But you did insinuate that climate change is responsible. If global warming was responsible, more tornadoes would occur during the hottest part of the summer. They don't.

Did MTG claim its God's punishment of the wicked, like she did when there was an earthquake in NY
