So Panama's president is doing what our own president won't and it will probably piss Biden off. Naturally, if Panama does slow down the flow of illegal aliens coming into our country, Biden & Co will take credit for it.

Trump certainly didn't get any cooperation by insulting our neighbors, and the wall didn't work either. Working with our neighbors is absolutely necessary to help stem the flow.

A bipartisan bill was introduced in Congress last January.

This bill was supported by the border patrol.

    Who killed this bill?

That bill was a hoax. It gave Democrats everything they wanted. Millions of illegals could continue flow into the company. Border agents got to replace immigration judges. To top it off, Biden, who has a dismal record of enforcing immigration law, was in charge of implementing it. I don’t care if it was “bipartisan.” It was a Washington swamp bill which kicked the can down the road.

Like January 6, you guys constantly bring that up as a Republican failure. Like January 6, it’s overblown. The bill would not have fixed any problems and would have brought more illegals into the country, which is what you want.

The bill is like the latest “cease fire” that Hamas has “accepted.” It was the unacceptable Hamas proposal and Hamas accepted it. What a surprise!

Yea, if Kamala had anything to do with it, the Panamanian president was lucky he didn’t die from laughing when he was dealing with her. “Giggle puss” is incapable of anything else.

When reporters asked Kamala what she thought of the pro Palestinian demonstrations on college, her response was shrimp and grits.” A truly profound response from the most shallow vice president in history.

What you're telling me is that border patrol are idiots for supporting it.

Whereas you, who haven't read it, know what's good for them and for the border.

Actually, a bill that's passed the house is sitting on Schumers desk. As you know the bipartisan bill didn't pass the Dem controlled Senate because lefty senators voted no instead of towing the party line. Wonder why Schumer won't have a vote on it?

I'll repeat the question because no MAGA on this forum seems to understand it.

Who killed the bipartisan bill the border patrol wanted passed last January?

    @hawgsalot , I will help you a little:

GOP Rep. Stuns Fox Host With Truth About Who's To Blame For The Border

Speaking on Fox News, Texas Republican Representative Keith Self stunned Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo after he acknowledged that Republicans are to blame for why Congress has not been able to "secure the border."

Bartiromo asked Self to explain what is "wrong with Congress," adding:

"Why can't you actually move the needle on securing the border? I understand you need a willing partner on the other side and you haven't had that. It's frustrating to see all of these illegals coming in and the drugs flowing in and really no movement."

    To that, Self responded:

"The problem is the Republicans, not the Democrats. We know how the Democrats are going to vote. It's too many of my Republican colleagues who are unwilling to vote to secure the border."

    I think it's funny.

MAGA don't realize that very few immigrants vote Republican once they become naturalized.

Whether Latino, European, African or Asian.

    Legal immigration still favors liberals.

Invasions by illegals don't improve our economy, they make it worse. Biden needs to look at what's going on across the pond and learn from it.

Migration has failed to drive economic growth, warns report

Record-high levels of immigration have failed to boost the economy while making the housing crisis worse, a leading think tank has warned.

In a report co-authored by former immigration minister Robert Jenrick, the Centre for Policy Studies (CPS) urged the Government to introduce caps on legal immigration to stop a drain on British infrastructure and public services that is not offset by economic growth.

In particular, high levels of immigration are “significantly exacerbating the housing crisis”, it said.

The report, which is jointly authored with former health minister Neil O’Brien, also suggested the Home Office should be broken up to create a new department to control immigration.

It came after data published showed British consumers are suffering the longest drop in living standards in the G7 as the economy fails to keep up.

The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) said GDP per person fell for four quarters in a row across 2023 in the UK and has been at 0pc or less since spring 2022.

No need for personal attacks, I’m just confused by your contradictory statements. Do walls work or don’t they? Seems like you’re going to end up on the “walls work if properly completed and supported by relevant resources both in men and material”…which is exactly what everyone supporting the southern border wall has said.

    Welcome to the Republican Party.

I provided links to my argument that was in almost opposite position from your assertion, yet you post that I made the opposite argument and still are.

If you don't wish to read the articles, that's your prerogative, but to continually do that is a waste of time and bandwidth.

Cool, you posted one article that’s behind a paywall so great job there thank you so much for that

And the second article points out breaches as the only thing to talk about, the stupidity of which is made stark in contrast to the Biden Administrations “efforts” to “stop” migration.

Undefended walls don’t work against a determined person? No kidding. I don’t know why you need a link to show that but okay.

End of the day, the wall wasn’t complete and nobody was saying “we have enough men and resources to defend the wall all is well”!

It was all one big work in progress constantly undermined by Democrat efforts of loving themselves 100k fentanyl deaths a year.

How you take a multi-dimensional work in progress, point out people are getting through it, and use that as all the justification you need to say “it didn’t work” is beyond me.

Your argument is as poorly constructed and thought out as our border policies. Lol!

Ironically, your argument entails “working with neighbors” to “stem the flow”. Wait, so does that mean if migrants still get in I can tell you it “failed” since migrants got in, or would you tell me it wasn’t meant to be a one and done but part of a broader strategy? Methinks you’d say exactly that.

Yet here you are denying the fact a wall is not meant to be a one and done but a broader strategy that actually needed to be completed
